Say you get about 10k sp per battle, that's like 28 battles. Rounded to 30...
If you were to play that much for the rest of the week you'd get another 315,000 sp.
1500 sp x 30 = 45,000
45,000 sp x 7 = 315,000
Assuming that you always get more than 1000 sp a match (Which I'm guessing you do) |

for some reason i thought this would be 1000 sp + 500 with a booster.

Zitro can you confirm it was indeed 285,600. It looks like it hit around the 190K mark by calculation even though i have active.
I was getting the 50% bump all day and still get it on the soft cap.
But i started at 30ishK have now 238K factoring thats a total gain of 208K including passive booster gain during the day. So just wanted to confirm you got 285,600 and not 190,400. |

See, this is why I have an issue with any kind of soft cap on SP gains. (are we even in the new SP system, is that what you're talking about?) Now you can just sit there and pull in 1k per match over and over and over, which will very quickly add up throughout the weeks and months.

Same problem. Since I'm pretty sure most of these players have played all week, and have hit the cap every day up until today, then clearly something is wrong. Missing over 100k of my SP this week kind of sucks, hopefully it's fixed tomorrow.
If anyone else hit the cap way too early, please post in this thread in the Technical Support/Bugs section. |

Wait a second here, Zitro claims to have gotten all 285k SP, yet based on what CCP said in that post, you can only get what was left over in the SP 'pool' from the past Wednesday.
So if I understand correctly, when they implemented the weekly cap system today, it's as if there was already a weekly cap starting on Wednesday. Which means if I hit the cap Wednesday night, Thursday night, Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday night, and Monday night, then that means I only have 27k SP left for tonight until the reset tomorrow (without booster).
So either Zitro hasn't played at all since Wednesday and grinded it all down today, or he managed to get some glitch which gave him an additional 285k as if it was the start of a new week... or he is simply trolling us and lying.

I hit cap everyday last week, and I have well over one days worth of active sp today. So If ccp wanted it to only be pool leftover, it is glitched. I'll probably have few days worth of sp before bed today(I work weekends and have tue/wed off), day and a half worth already and will be up till downtime. |

No we have played everyday, hit the cap and got off.
I think why some players couldn't get all the SP is because they were on close before the downtime and played. So CCP has pretty much robbed them of there SP. It will forever be lost.
As for the grind today. I will never do that ever again.
CCP you are still making this game a job. Instead of making it enjoyable and fun. |

I capped at about 140k SP and I have the active booster, so no amount of playing that one day close to the downtime would seem to explain why I lost 145k SP. I'm not sure what happened, but I hope it's an easy fix. |

sad part is, I could have probably hit it before you, but I fell asleep after about 8 hours+ of solid play. I hit it about 5-10 ish games after i woke up. hoping they reset it tonight. not gonna stop till I hit it.

Yay, I got a whopping ~50k today in 3-4 hours before DT hit (without boosters, playing ambush solo almost exclusively, and not playing every last minuet of those hours... I take breaks, have to restart, like to chat for a few minuets every now and then, etc.. my 3-4 hours is more likely about 1, maybe 2 hours of actual play).
Oh wait, your saying I am at least 235,000 SP behind the no-lifers with boosters? 
Hope CCP fixes the major problem they presented by giving many players the ability to 24/7 grind 285K SP from one day. If CCP had any common sense of balance at all, they would deduct the extra SP players gained today from the next weeks weekly reset pool.
Will they? Almost 100% unlikely. CCPhail strikes again. |

I didnt cap yesterday, probably hit around 150k before i went to bed. got home and started drinking/cooking with the lady after work and lost track of time. Skirmish is much better for KDR Boosting and almost always ends in a redline. So to say real men play skirmish lol. BTW nice job getting cloned yesterday. |
