I don't understand how this works. I've hit the daily cap of 40k (I have the booster) every day up until today, when I was halted at roughly 140k SP because of the weekly cap. If the previous days this week counted towards that cap, then I shouldn't have gotten anywhere near 140k.
Total, this week, I have now earned roughly 380k SP (240k from Wednesday through Monday Daily SP cap plus 140k from today). The limit, with my active booster, should be about 280k per week. If it is indeed as you say, and previous days count towards it, how was I able to earn so much today?
Are we positive this is working as intended? |

Essentiallly the same thing for me as he said. Hit cap everyday, was able to earn way more than daily cap today but not the full amount of the boosted weekly cap. However will continue to monitor tomorrow and will report back. |

If that is the case why did I only receive 10k today? Did I play that many matches that the 75 sp totalled 30k? I think not.... Especially when I have players in my corporation that play far more than myself and did not hit cap today. Sounds like you are trying to save face on an obvious screw up. I am more than a reasonable person and go to bat for the devs on the forums all the time. I just don't appreciate you pissing on my back and calling it rain.
Either way, it'll be fixed tomorrow... hopefully. |

After reading this thread, I think we can safely say something is wrong. There are top tier players, who obviously play every day and cap, saying they got 285k SP today. It would really be nice if this was fixed by tomorrow. |

I did not get 190k before the soft cap hit me. I do have active passive boosters. I think I had roughly 120k |

Im not falling for this "you already hit your cap" sounds more like a bug... I know people that have played a lot less then I have and im still racking in the 9k+ sp while they are capped at 1000... Ive hit me cap every day since the 10th 0.o I should be capped right now... |

So what about the people who hit the cap all week yet somehow managed to get 285k SP today?
Would be nice if that was taken from their upcoming SP weekly reset pool, otherwise those 24/7 playing turkeys will be able to get well over 560,000 SP in two days.
Why didn't you simply release the new weekly cap on the day that it is supposed to reset (Wednesday after DT)?
Yet another classic CCP faux pas

The time for caps will come tomorrow when CCP hasn't fixed this or said when they plan to have it fixed, hasn't told us what's wrong, or what type of compensation is available for those who spent money on Aurum for an active booster that doesn't take effect. |

I have no idea, I don't work for them. If they fix the problem by tomorrow's downtime, it seems unlikely since these sort of bugs will happen occasionally. If they don't fix it by next week, though, I sort of feel like they have to acknowledge it somehow. |

Caps and angry letters won't get you anywhere. Send email to [email protected] and GM will assist you. They do all the reimbursements and stuff around that. CCP Here responds with what they got right now. Chill out, take a deep breath, email and wait for weekly reset and see how it goes. Sheesh... |

I'm bumping this with a tentative update. I haven't hit the cap yet, but I can say for certain that I've received more Active SP so far today (after downtime) without hitting the cap than I did for the weekly cap that ended before downtime and capped me much too early. |

I just wanted to add that this happened to me late last night. I think something is totally wrong here and pushing the "it resets tomrrow" line isn't cool. Whatever caused this could still still exist in the code.
I have active booster
I have hit cap every day in last week
I played about 5 hours in the morning and earned close to 175k sp
I logged back on and got about 18k in 2 skrimish matches then it went down to 3800/1800/zero then back to 1000. |

I've gotten 5-6 K on my last few matches earlier today, but it is the first time I've played, (aside from one brief match Tuesday I think), since the SP change. Maybe they've changed the way it is calculated?
