I'm not 100% sure on this yet, but it seems to me Pub matches have devolved into absolute chaos. I've got guys deliberately stepping in front of me while I'm downing a target, blocking my fire and attempting to take the kill. They fail miserably and we all die as a result. Either because it's an HMG, or because now the target has time to drop a grenade at our feet.
That's just the start. Players are runninbg all over hacking, taking objectives and leaving them to be retaken, only to take another and leave it, and take another. All over the map, even though it is wiser to hold or at least attempt to secure objectives. The only reason I can see for this is to gain as many WP per match as possible, and both sides seem to be doing it most of the time.
This just started in the last 3-4 matches. I came to the conclusion that there can be only two possible answers for this slack jawed nonsense to be occurring. Either they are complete noobs and haven't got a clue what they are doing, or they have already hit their weekly cap and are going for WP = SP.
Even if it is the first scenario, it has occurred to me the second is only too likely in the very near future. It's devolving into CoD out there. Players are trying to streak kill ratios, even if it means stealing someone else's kill at the possible expense of failing and dying along with others around you as you work against your team.
The worst part is that this activity is completely counter-productive and in at least one match completely lost us an objective and pushed us all the way to the redline after which we ended up facing Precision strikes, Snipers, and HMGs to get back to where we were. It was almost done by then; we never did get out of our redline.

That's how long it has been since the weekly cap + WP was implemented. I haven't seen such terrible fighting since I watched that stupid dancing CoD is Easy video. |

Yeah, just hit cap and questioned that; going to go delete my other post questioning it now.
edit: Still, I see this as being a potential problem, but I'll assume that my first scenario was correct for now: Noobish Newbs and Kill thieves.  |
