I like the fact it's a PS3 exclusive.

I don't think it's a problem at all if anything it is better for the game.
1) More FPS players on consoles.
2) Introducing EVE to players that may not know what it is, so possible more EVE players.
3) On computer it would have more competition.
4) It is now a ground breaking game for connecting a PC game with a Console game.
5) On computer it would only most likely attract EVE players.
6) Not as many hackers(cheaters) on consoles
7) It may be hard to run EVE and Dust on a computer at the same time. Now you can have both full screen when in a war zone so no worrying about your ship in space while calling in the orbital and no worrying about your dust bunny being shot while you are preparing to fire it from your ship.
Just a few of my reasons I'm sure others can think of more. EVE players can be mad they might now be able to play because they don't want to buy a PS3 for a few hundred dollars( no where near as much money as a computer) but it will honestly be better for the game and it will see more success this way. |

Who buys a PS3 for one game? Who pays more than a console is worth to upgrade their GPU? PC gamers don't know how to manage their bank accounts. :P |

I'm sure It'll be on PC eventually. The only thing holding them back is that it takes work to port it over, and they have better things to do right now. Whether it was a good idea to start here or there, though, who knows. |

Planetside 2 has the spotlight, Dust wouldn't do so well.
I enjoy it being on Ps3.
I very much enjoy it allowing Keyboard/mouse.
I'm an elite PC FPS gamer. Allowing me to have my mouse has made a huge difference over the PS3 controllers.
Not that I'm terrible with the controller, I'm just awesome with a mouse.

Problem? No. I'd like to see it on both platforms, like in Portal 2 co-op. If connectivity is smoother than greased lightning on a sugar rush, then the more the merrier. Until then, the best we can hope for is that CCP makes Dust for PC, as well.

Ummm....
140 quid for a PS3 that comes with everything you need except a TV.
300 + quid for a PC capible of playing a state of the art FPS. Just for the box.
Let me think.
Also I don't think Dust 514, if you do, stop playing. Nobody cares. |
