I'm sure at some point you guys have called in a vehicle and some blueberry has stolen it before you could get to it. So I was just wondering what you guys thought about this. Personally I think if you call in the vehicle only you or a squad mate should be able to drive it, but the weapons on the vehicle should be left open for anybody to use. |

Taking tanks for a joy ride. Fastest way to get a love letter in this game. Nothing promotes team togetherness and teaches us about sharing and playing well with others like vehicles in Dust 514. |

I think the mechanics are misunderstood.
If you were there to get it you would have.
Vehicles once they have hit the ground have about a 3-5 second lock on them, so only the person who called it in can board them in this time frame.
Anything else is fair game.
Edit
I would like to see a kick all button to make teammates get out and hack or get rid of bad gunners ect. |

Ta RDV needs to be fixed, they're uber bad. It's 50/50 if your vehicle will even survive the drop. |

This is not true. I have never seen anything like a timer. I have seen bluberries sprint at tanks and jump in the driver's seat before they hit the ground. Drive a nice armor tank into a wall, get hit by a swarm, fail to turn on the armor repper, drive straight at a fully charged forge gun...
If the person that calls the tank in is smart enough to hide a little bit behind some cover so they don't get sniped and a blueberry just happens to be lucky enough to be running past and not get crushed by the tank when it drops and just grabs it before it hits the ground and the proper owner is two steps behind them also running at the tank... not so much fair game. Especially when there is no one else in the tank and the owner is shooting at them to ping their shields and make them stop and get in a small turret seat but they just keep on driving...

This is what I was referring to, you're not always the closest person to the vehicle when it drops. I didn't call in my LAV so some blueberry can steal it and drive off leaving me and my squad mates behind. |

Don't be a fool, please test it before calling me a liar Mr. Scrubberrypants.
It does not display a timer, but I guarantee it works as intended.
Go, shew shew Newberry test it out.
Try to get into another vehicle when it drops before them
Squad up with someone and drop an LAV, test the mechanic. |

you would think vehicles would be locked from team mates getting in until you do. |
