They got so heavily nerfed that they're rare breed of turrets :(
They weren't even that OP back then , they did the job the missile description says. Decimates groundand aerial.
Now they lack splash damage , have range and just all around suck.
Bump the missiles |

Indeed missiles are useless cause the blast radius is way to small. A militia locus grenade has more splash damage then a missile launcher. And i think a missile should deliver a bigger explosion then a explosive that is carried from infantry. Another problem is the extreme small range of the large missiles. To think of it a blaster has more range then missiles. That is just wrong. |

I put a request thread on this awhile back,
I'd like to see the old launch system put back in place, not this missile spread.
Also have the splash up'd, range w/e keep it short but deadly. |

i forgot to mention that large missiles aswell fly insane slow and not really accurate. Prime example are large missile installations. They are useless and dont scare any 1. When im sitting in my tank i fear blasters and railguns but missiles are just crap. |

Well before they got over nerfed missiles where the only turrets that actually had 20% damage mods while everything else only had 10% damage mods. But that has beeing fixed by now. I allways sayd that damage mods combined with the bonuses from the skillbooks where the problem but hey lets listen to everybody else and not to the guy who actually used them and knows what was wrong about them. To be honest give them their old blast radius back and keep the damage as it is now. And dont forget missile turrets where not the winning factor in the tourny. It was railgun tanks who are capable in 1 shoting other tanks which had 5000HP |

The dispersion is insane, and the range is pitiful. You have exactly 100m on large turrets, and at that range the dispersion is at least 10m. You are less accurate, less dps, and less range than a blaster turret. And you can't kill moving infantry through skill (only luck on dispersion and them being in stupid places). But it doesn't have cooldown so it must be balanced... |

They definatly should be looked at again. They were nerfed too hard. At one point though, they were laughably dominating. It was actually pointless fitting anything else. |

Have to agree with Dark Cloud here. When I'm in a tank and see a missile turret or even a missile tank, I just giggle and go to grab the WP.
Sollutions? Increase range, making the turrets more in line with EvE, increase splash damage again and also reduce the random bullet/missile spread. After this is done, then wait, see how they work, and see if the damage values also needs some tuning.

THIS. passive skills adding dmg is also to blame there along with broken dmg mods |

I miss them too, but to say they were never OP to start with is crazy. Militia dropship gunners could go 40/0, just think about that. |
