is there a way to combine squads?! I know you can do a 4 man squad but if you have a big corp how can you all play together? |

You guys have to sync together when you join a match. Only way to do it so far. |

They're iterating on squads a bit more and are considering things such as getting rid of public squads (thus everyone will be in team chat in publics, unless squaded by players)
Being a likely possible (but allowing squads to take in randoms and locked out on default.
Using a recently played list as a viable invite to squad list, and able to invite to squad without having to add as contacts.
And the confirmed 6 man size squads. |

good, six man will allow more variation in squads. right now seeing a logi/heavy/assault/random makeup in most squads need more variance

The squad leaders need a UVT and you just have to communicate in corp chat and go in the same game mode at the same time. All you can really do after that is hope for the best. |

Hear? They asked us and we gave them some feedback. Trying to get the random blues back into team chat will increase social fidelity at least and make voice/mic more capabilities more aware and thus more meta-game growth as people find out about like goals and start to form their own little permanent squads and before you know it their own corp.
We also wanted squads to be open able to randoms getting inserted most of the folks believed it would make a great recruiting tool so early in the game development when most tools are not in yet.
As for recently played lists and more invites from more lists (such as local channel name browsing) that's been a pet project by one of the developers he was excited to share with us but if it will make it in or not is uncertain.
6 Man squads was announced like a month ago for the up coming expansion.
If you got any cooler ideas or suggestions please post, devs are going to read it and it allows the IRC breakfast club to talk about it. |

Aye, I am doing my best to get the vibe of the forums so in the rare chance I get to talk to a dev I can share some of it.
