I see people complaining about these "OP Heavies" and "OP ARs" but no one says a thing about the shotguns.
I hate playing the "OP" game, but this needs to be looked at
The CRG shotgun has some ****** up range. I have 379 shields and that gun can **** me in 3-4 hits from 15-25 meters. Thats broke. That is beyond broke. Even CoD's shotguns aren't that ****** up.
Shotguns don't need a damage nerf imo, maybe a tweak, but don't smash that ****.
Shotguns do need a range nerf though. The range is incredible. Hitting people from 20 meters away with that is to ****** up.

The whole idea of shotguns are that they wtfpwn people in CQC. I can occasionally hit people from 20 meters, but I guarantee I don't do much damage - or your distance gauge is way off. I run a shotgun scout so I know.

I have used the scout + HK4M set up. And I have been on the receiving end.
Your list makes some sense, but some of it is lol worthy.
Like I said, I don't like playing the OP game, but shotguns need a tweak, not a ******* incredible nerf. |

Shotguns arnt OP anything that isnt point blank range and ill probally get beaten. you walk right into me 1m away i will unload 1 sweet shot from the breach shotgun into your face.. and you will die
If u want to deal with shotguners simply find some cover and lob a grenade as he chases you around, thats often what kills me. |

Shotgun ain't as powerful as you think. 3-4hits from a shotgun is really long enough for you to kill him. If you can't , you really deserve to die. And shotgun works better up close, 20m seems too far away to hit. |

While the shotgun can hit and kill from 20m if you train up the sharpshooter skill, the only thing it's really good for at that range is some pretty hilarious kill stealing. |

I know right. I get ****** up all the time by heavy machine guns, occasional snipers, and the one in a blue moon shotgunners. But none of these need a Nerf. I'm a Assault and I can say each of those weapons are obvious killers. But THEY ARE GUNS. They're supposed be able to kill us in their own specialized way.
Too many people want to take the easy way and Nerf every weapon. Adapt and Overcome. That's the way to do it.
