As they should be.
I personally dislike facing Heavy's. You know it's possible to solo them, but it takes time and skill. Heavy's are almost OP. Backed up by a Logi, they are, and have the right to be. But the one biggest weakness of Heavy's is their drop suit skill tree. Sure, Heavys right now are having the time of their lives, strutting around going 15+-0 with their Broadsides and type 2s. But don't even bother skilling up, cause this is as good as it gets.
People who complain about Heavy's haven't skilled up into proper suits. It's painfully obvious. I can, in an A-Series suit, solo a lone Heavy with little difficulty if he has skill, and I have cover. And I know that I used a 30 k suit to take down his 100 k suit. All that's needed is time, his shields may go up, but they pop easily, and unless he has a logi, his armor isn't going to rep decently fora while, allowing me to pop in and out, slowly but surely breaking him down.
Heavy's are close to being OP. Give them a slight buff and they will be. However, with the options available, you too can break them down today. |

If heavies(infantry tanks) are borderline op then tanks should be... But they are not so might want to rethink that Considering tanks can go 30+-0 without much skill, (I've seen a SOMA go 61-0) , I'd consider them borderline open too. And Heavy's and tanks aren't the same. Unless you want to compare a tank to a LAV , like a Heavy is to a Scout, then we can say that tanks are completely OP. |
