Sounds good, do you use the in-game voice chat then and not Skype?
If so that's not a problem but just means i need to buy a USB headset.
I'm interested in joining and while i only played a trial on EvE Online i'm an experienced fps gamer and been playing mmo's for a long time so the experiences combine well.
I'm from Scotland and looking to link up with a good bunch of people. |

I myself have a ps3 headset and Carr does also, so at some stage yes we would ideally move over to using the ingame voice for convenience. Presently we do use Skype, so no need to rush out and buy a headset.

Being British myself I definitely know how awkward it is to get into squads with me fellow Brits so this is a great idea and trully do wish you all the best of luck. If I wasn't already running my own I would've loved to of joined you guys.

Brit here. In a lovely corp currently but they are all yanks so never online when I am.
Old EVE player, 2004-2006. Quite knowledgeable about the NE universe, adapted to DUST very quickly (n00b but not a n00b). Mic. Play an hour or more each day.

I was on most of the day yesterday so i must of just missed you.
Best thing to do is add me on Skype as we usually organise on skype first prior to comming on game, so if for some reason i aint online in-game i'll be on skype 99% of the time |

The Air channel always has someone in it, and usually quite a few in the evenings. Join the channel and say hello, Also, email me and I'll be able to send you our Skype info for voice-chat.
Aha, Expert Intervention is one of the 'placement corps', as in its a NPC faction corp that your automatically put into when you join (all dependent on what race/bloodline etc. you chose at start up) Theres about 10-15 of these in DUST, Thousands in EVE itself.

Been in the corp for 4 days now, great bunch of guys, play together regularly and a full EVE corp backing us up. Voice chat is a laugh and the corp play the perfect level between fun and serious gaming.
Were also starting our Corp battles this weekend so if anyones on the fence about joining, make sure your in for these to start!

Looking for a corp and hoping AIR is it, dont have a PS3 headset but do have TS, Mumble, Skype and a mic for those. Oh, that Fringe Tech corp i'm in atm is just my corp in eve, a valiant but ultimately fruitless attempt to ISK my dust char up :)

Hey Bear, last night was a very quiet one. I should get on for a few hours tonight and there will be quite a lot of activity over this weekend if you're about then aswell.

Unfortunately being valentines day there are no recruitment officers available today. However your welcome to join whoever is in the Air channel tonight for a few squads and we'll see about processing your application friday or over our mega weekend we're planning.
I will be around Friday 15th from 18:30 GMT onwards, and most of us will be avaiable all weekend.

Are you able to use skype? Seem to be finding that even with the ps3 headsets most of the guys are enjoying the group banter/chat on skype over being limited to just 3 people :) |

Hey guys. Im currently on the hunt for a new corp. the one im in atm is just a small group of friends having some fun. I noticed you guys are uk, so thats a massive positive for me.
I come from an eve background and have played eve for quite a few years, toons from past include arbator and kLtten. Although ive been out since dec 2011. Im quite a competent fps player (dating back to the origional counterstrike in beta form, and starwars dark forces 2. lol yes thats 56k days)
I usually run as a combat medic. Love a bit of organisation but above all fun!
I should b online this. Evening. Mind if i jump into air chat and have some convos and squad up? Be nice to speak to some english for a change.

Hey folks
I am on a look out for a corp to play with - only been playing a short time but really enjoying it and seem to be doing well in the games I have played so far, however been majorly let down by lack of comms via the pubbies so that's a focal point for me.
I am playing eve again (played from 03 - 07 (Xanadu -> ATUK) but with some friends who started a new corp and has a load of guys who just started the game. I am getting hooked on Dust which is strange as I have been devout PC FPS player since I was a kid.
Right now I mainly run as HMG since I seem to get silly amounts of kills and I want the play to be as simple as possible right now as I tried to get used to the controller again.
Will jump on the advised channels tonight after work. (6pm+)

Hallo,
Looking for a corp where I can have a casual approach to the game but still be involved in the contract and big events.
As nice as pubbing is, watching half the team sit out of bounds and snipe can get annoying ;)
Playstyle for me is medic using assault rifles, shotguns and nova knives.
Depending on how much work I have my gaming patterns vary, some weeks I might be online alot, others it can be none at all.
This all sound alright? |
