Instead of hacking installations you "Sabotage" them, so after a count down ( lets say 10 secs ) the installation blows up.

One team defense the installations, when the other team tries to blow them up. Of course, you'll need a best of 3 rounds battle for this to work. But that will be a great variation to the current game modes.

But how does it fit into the EVE online world? Might have to get a bit creative there. Not knocking it, just saying. It would be pretty interesting.

Remember in the future you will have to buy and deploy installations. I don't want an installation being able to be killed within 10 seconds - especially if you payed half a million ISK to get it there in the first place.

Sabotage doesn't necessarily involve blowing it up.

It could also be like a virus upload into the control terminal. Let's say, to sucessfully sabotage an installment, the attacking team needs to be in control of the terminal for a certain amount of time to win.

If the defenders regain control of the terminal, the virus progress will be slowly reversed, so the attackers don't have to restart the timer anew, making defending the objective for the defenders much more important.

Also, there could be secondary targes, whose control and/or destruction would slow down or speed up the virus progression.

And for the owner of a sabotaged installment: it would remain in his or her posession, but would be inoperable for a certain amount of time (thus, sabotage, and not destruction)
