I think that there needs to be a heavy suit capable of carrying equipment. Every other suit has at least 2 at its higher end and I think Heavies should at least get 1. Every suit has its role to play , but I dont think think heavy weapons and survivability should cost them the tactical choices every other suit has the option to take. Yes Heavies have the most baseline armor and shields depending on the model , but they have the least high and low fitting options to keep them in check. They are slow with the largest hit box making them easy targets. Granted they are hard to kill especially when throwing 2000rpm at you with a machine gun , but I have had plenty of scouts run around me with shotguns who would beg to differ. Equipment slots let you change your role outside the norm or give you a tactical choice that can help your team. I dont think that because I like to carry big guns and walk around in 5 inches of steel that I shouldn't be able to drop a damage mod so I can bring a drop uplink or nano injector. It makes for more interesting play options. Sorry if this is a repost or is similar to something I already posted. Im new to this and my previous posts seemed to vanish and then I couldnt find them. |

Its a balancing issue. Otherwise, you could run as a squad of four heavies. Two with rep tools, two with nanos. No thank you. |

Exactly this. Heavies should rely on the Squadmembers (BlueBerries in the parallel universe) including ammo resupply and armor repair. |

I was a heavy for the longest time (2 builds), and I have to say this is the thing I wanted most. But the Hoovs shouldn't have an equip slot, and I understood that. All classes have an obvious lacklustre quality, and with Heavy it's equipment. As the poster said above, it'd prevent heavy from having to rely on anyone and in the process kill the teamwork associated with the role. |

Yea, as much as I'd like it for my Forge Gun and endless AV grenade spam it would honestly be terrible for balance. |
