Trying to be funny I see... the sound WAS working in the beta...so it's a beta of a beta now?

This beta excuse is running thin these days. It's been in beta WAY too long for something as simple as sound to be giving trouble.

Not like it's a new engine or something...it's ****** Unreal Engine...

By all means wise one, right the code to fix it for free. Deal with it you tool. Email support with a description and help them out in fixing the issue. Thats the whole purpose of being in Beta. I've been sending emails left and right with responses and replies to help better the game. Not post some idiotic post about the sound or gripe. Man the F up or just sacrifice yourself to the QQ gods...you're obviously worthy of them.

It seems to me that way too many people are feeling entitled to perfection, bug free game-play, seamless experiences and their every demand met in a game that is both free, and in beta. Yes, it has been in beta for a long time, yes it is experiencing problems and yet it is completely unadulterated free fun. There is no price tag, no down-payment and no monthly fee. Any money put toward this game was and still is entirely optional. If you bought your way into the closed beta you were warned that it was a beta and subject to bugs and all the problems you could wish for. Nobody is saying criticism is not allowed yet whining, complaining and negativity are completely unacceptable. You can call those of us who are grateful for a free game that blows many other pay to play games out of the water Fanboys if you feel you need to and that's fine with me but when you have an issue, please try to be constructive.

It's F2P but like all F2P it's P2W or for the very least pay to get more SP quicker. So you feel free to not pay for anything, you can go that route if you wish.

I AM entitled...entitled to have an opinion. This game in it's present state shouldn't be OPEN BETA. You think new players know what's up? All they see is the game with a mute button on, ONTOP of just getting destroyed in pubs because there's no match making in place to be noob friendly.

You really think at this point in the beta's life cycle that sound should be problem? If your answer is "well it's still a beta" then you're a blind fanboy. It's a fail on CCP's part. If pointing out facts is whining, then I'm a whiner I guess, but the fact is there's no sound in OPEN BETA.

Free game or not, new people will look at this and laugh, then proceed to delete off HD. This game is relying on playerbase, and when you're basically chasing the playerbase away with great updates like these, that leaves what? A game with potential but nobody playing it.

My apologies for giving CCP some slack. Yes there was a mistake, yes there are problems. Everyone makes mistakes and there will always be problems that need dealing with especially since this game will be perpetually updated and upgraded. I agree with you whole heartedly that this is a big issue that needs to be corrected. It does not, in my opinion, warrant non constructive criticism. Filling the forums with disrespectful complaints and aggressive attacks will not help the player base any more than bugs and errors. Feel free to have your opinion; nobody said you were not entitled to it. Yet in no circumstance will I feel that angry, disrespectful and plainly mean spirited statements are the right way to proceed. Just my opinion.

Every game I've played even after resetting I can't hear heavies shooting at me nor can I hear anyone shooting not even myself in some gun fights... No need for a headset if I can't hear who's shooting or my sound leaves.... GG CCP
