You know who you are, you ****
CCP, if you want to ruin what is otherwise becoming a good game - keep using friendly-fire vehicle collisions. Until you turn this off, morons like this will always persist.
I'd love to keep it in for the realism, but when your out of all that ISK because some **** has nothing better to do, it just kills the fun out of the game.
I'd also like to see optional squad/corp locks on vehicles being implemented ASAP. |

hehe, i had a blue lav scream round a blind corner and hit my tank yesterday, exploding and killing the occupants.
i also lost a tank when pissing around in a 1 sided corp match and another corp tank mounted and crushed me.
the randomness of it all is the thing that gets me. people doing it on purpose is not cool.
+1 for vehicle security btw :) |

Let me guess: no collision damage to dropship bottom equals fun times? That must be why I saw dark cloud flying one. |

If I crash into any world object, it should explode. Thats fair.
If some moron spends the whole match trying to kamakaze my fitted Myron with a Viper.....then not so much. |

Welcome to EVE/DUST! Most of us veteran beta testers are bored with the endless routine of: Join game, find newberry red dots, process newberry, hack objective, process redberry, repete.
Sometimes team killing with vehicles is fun, I run over my teams redline snipers with my LAV if they are accessible, or run up into the hills and call down an LAV on their heads when they are being typical useless newberries who are afraid to hurt the precious KDR that they are used to having from their other favorite easy mode FPS games.
You sound very new to EVE/DUST since you are demanding that CCP stop the griefing and trolling in ge and on the forums, do a little research and you will find that not only does CCP allow it, they encourage it. So they won't be doing anything to stop other players from squishing you. Wait till we have other options besides high sec, when we have friendly fire there will be SO MANY TEARS TO HARVEST. |

That sort of sucks that another player had nothing better to do with their time or ISK.
However, I do not want to see any changes to the collision damage that happens when friendly's crash into each other.
If people are going to drive or fly like idiots, they deserve to die. I would not even want to see the vehicle lock we have been asking for for a long time put in place. I used to want to have that option, but now think we don't need it.
If any random blue can steal your tank, or spend all of a match in a junk dropship trying to crash a nice one, this will help motivate vehicle drivers to get into corporations with squads that can watch their backs, help keep people from flying blinged out ships or driving kitted out tanks in pub matches as well.
Every time I read one of these threads now I wonder why the heck are people calling in 2 million ISK plus vehicles to random instant battles?
SHouldn't that not so wise decision also have potentially bad consequences? |

Hi,
I've played EVE before so I know all about the culture and that. Been in the Dust beta for a month now. I just think stuff like this will be a lot less tolerated by FPS players and will hurt the image of the game.
If the concensus is it must happen, then full-friendly fire the game over. |

There were two times (out of four) where a blue LAV intentionally crashed into my HAV causing it to explode.
The first time I was driving down a road and I see an allied LAV on the road, this LAV decides the best thing to do is the run straight into me. The second time was when I was shooting at enemies, and an allied LAV comes out of nowhere and rams into my tank.
Although these were militia tanks and not too costly, it would be extremely annoying to continue to get them destroyed by these trolls. I've stopped driving tanks in public matches since it seems extremely easy to troll and destroy it.. |

Were you already low on HP retreating from a battle when this happened?
I remember a match now where I was parking my tank behind cover making some other tank invincible with heavy shield transporters. We pretty much stayed there for the rest of the match, but after a while what seemed like some clueless newbie crashed a BPO lav into my tank.
I only took a small amount of armor damage (militia gallente tank) and shrugged it off, but it happened at least 3 more times before the match ended. I never went below 75% armor, and it's only now after reading threads like these that I'm starting to realize the guy crashing into my tank was probably doing it intentionally |

People call vehicles into public matches to learn to fly/drive and improve their skills. Only fools wait for a corp match to call in their first dropship.
I would be happy with the free LAVs not doing collision damage on friendly vehicles just to cut down on intentional destruction of expensive vehicles with no consequence to the griefer. EVE is supposed to be all about consequences, but that's broken when free LAVs can be used along with free fittings to destroy a teammates expensive vehicle at zero cost. |

agreed, i recently started practicing dropship piloting and always use the militia ones in pubs...i have plenty of ISK and if it gets trolled, whatever, ill call another. I have seen some pubs where there are people running around with tricked out tanks and whatnot, most of the time they are either instantly ganged up on and taken out...or somebody trolls on em. Either way, your bad for rollling up with that much ISK on board in a random public setting.
