i understand the need to reclaim an abandoned vehicle but as it is that makes putting a cru in a vehicle useless unless a team member stays in the vehicle at all times. the system should not destroy a vehicle with a cru in it or at the very least should wait a lot longer when it has a mobile CRU equipped and that timer should start again each time a player spawns into the vehicle. |

The enemy probably blew it up, they don't blow up on their own. |

Can't say for sure about this build but in the last build they definitely blew up on their own after awhile. |

The mCRU only works when there's a driver, anyway. |

I do realize the mcru requires the vehicle to be manned at the time the teammate spawns in but unfortunately with the current mechanic of a vehicle blowing up without a driver in about 30 seconds in reality the driver cant leave the vehicle at all making the mcru pointless if you don't dedicate a squad member as a constant LAV babysitter so you don't lose your LAV with mcru equipped. I think this abandon timer should be lengthened when a mcru is equipped. |

All vehicles have this "timer" But then I've jumped out of my Dropship and sat next to it fighting without it blowing up. Another time I fell off the ledge I parked it on and it blew up (nobody shot it, armor just begins to go down.)
Still mCRU requires a driver, if you're leaving your vehicle behind, whats the problem? |

You bought it so it's yours. It shouldn't blow up, and there's tactical reasons to park/hide a vehicle for a time.
But I suspect it's to stem the possibility of 300 LAVs imitating the 405 during rush hour. The definitely blow up.. you can see their shields and armor tick off after they sit their long enough. |

Unless changed recently, every vehicle burns and dies if left alone. Had a HAV do that last build. |
