I'm currently experiencing an issue with starting up Dust at the moment. After I press X to connect to the servers, it starts the numbered loading, but at an EXTREMELY slow rate and then stops around 10% and comes up with the warning: "Cached Data files corrupt. Please reinstall the game."
I should point out that my internet reached its data cap and I'm running on 264Kb for the next few days, but this never stopped me from playing online since it doesn't take up much bandwidth.
My question is does this warning mean an absolution? Do I have to reinstall? Or should I wait until my broadband speed picks up again? |

I have tried re-installing like 5 times, so from my experience it wont solve the problem. |

If you're sure it's DUST try removing the game data including any saved settings - back them up to a USB drive or a smart phone; anything external, or Playstation Plus backups. Once it's redownloaded if the game will run without having this problem, download the save files from wherever they were stored and try running and syncing the data one more time.
And if that still doesn't work, consider If you're running on the wireless with the PS3 try using a cable and see how that works. Post back with your findings and someone can see if they can help you further. Another solution could be that the hard drive needs some maintenance but it's more than likely just the game.
Have a muck around with other games that are installed on the hard drive or have some form of data that needs to be read before played. I don't really know of any, but if you do, give it a shot.
Some general things to try really, but I'm sure we can fix it for you sooner or later.
