need armor for saga vehicle and have missle turrent but was wondering what to go with nano vs steel? any idea |

My strategy in games is always take the thing you can improve and improve it. In this instance you can learn how to fly better be more aware of danger. You can't increase your armor amount through gameplay. You can through experience increase your reaction time making the nano less important.
Theory is great though but it doesn't always match the real word. If I were you I'd start with the steel and try the nano later.
Also missles are awful. Don't use them. I recommend blasters and maybe railguns.
Edit: Didnt see it was a Saga. Here is some advice that will help for fitting. If its caldari fit it for shields , don't fit armor ( in addition to shield ) unless your sole purpose is troop transport and you don't like nanofibers. Don't know the difference between caldari ( shield ) or gallente ( armor ) if it has more highs then lows shield tank , if it has more lows then highs armor tank ( FOR VEHICLES ). |

First of all, put armor on methanas, not sagas. Anyway, my preferred armor is nano- I need all the PG I can spare |

I'd stray away from putting armor plates on a shield LAV. Personally i put 2 shield extenders and 1 shield regenerator on high slots and BPO pg upgrades on low. |

Or if that isn't necessary, a power plant (or whatever brings up your torque)- you won't regret it. I just wish I had the space to fit one onto my methana instead of a boost system. |

Whoa whoa whoa. Don't put armor on an LAV unless you really need it.
Resistance Plates are the way to go because they don't slow you down nor affect the ratio of Armor Repairer to the damage taken. An Armor repairer will repair more HP's worth of armor if you use a resistance plate.
In regards to the Methana, which is my LAV, they have plenty of armor. If anything you should shield tank a methana and then add a Turbocharger, an armor repairer, and resistance plates. |
