So join 'DropU' with the toon you want to pilot with and a little cash. The objective of the channel will be to get players to group up so they can have friendly training time in their dropships.
There would be some basic rules of engagement in battles started in this channel. These would be non-combat corp battle matches.
- Shooting at enemy clones, or equipment would be unacceptable and result in a blacklisting on this thread.
- Since matches can't end in a draw, corps would fight battles back to back forcing a loss so that the previous loser can recoup most of their costs.
- ideally this should result in about 10-20 mins of unadulterated flight time practice at a minimum of about 100k isk to practice.
- users of this channel would be encouraged to show their feats of pro-piloting on YouTube. I am wondering how many free balochs can be parked next to each other and then strafe killed by blasters!
You could also bring a UVT to the channel to talk with your fellow pilots (and gunners) for more tips.

Got to say best way to learn is IN a combat environment. Its all well n good flying circles, and slowly easing your ship into those hard to reach places... but all that goes to the kittens when you suddenly start getting blapped by a turret.

While combat conditions definitely add more incentives for decisive flying, this is still a good idea for allowing people to learn the basics of dropship flight mechanics BEFORE they go out and get shot to hell. |

And te single most annoying thing about dropships.... NO ONE GETS OUT!!!! want to buy "drop" button! |

Haven't seen too many on yet. As a reminder, you don't need a full team or even squad to start a corp match. You can do a 1v1 corp battle with an alt who has their own corp. |

This is extremely annoying! Hovering over the base hoping they will capture it for us but they just sit their, even if they don't have a turret. I'm not sure they know they have intertia dampeners. |
