After the Tenth I went bonkers trying to get some rare salvage:
I had Calas SMG, Balacs and Krins AR, Gastuns HMG, Wolfmans PCP pistol and Thales Sniper rifles.
All that went bye,bye and I am only left with 40 or 80 count of Thales sniper rifles??
I petition that since my Skinweave Heavy is missing that we get a few tips from Developers on how to better score rare salvage weapons.
I tried blowing up supply depos, tanks, jeeps, dropships and only hunting infantry by specialty but even then I still have no clear idea of what?? or killing what?? leads to these very nice salvage weapons.
CCP Frame??, CCP Nothing?, CCP Applebabe? CCP Commander Wang?? Sir Philip??
Just one teeny, tiny ,small hint as I am going bonkers trying to get an idea of what leads to salvage??
Please, please,please even a subtle hint of "try killing this X times"

salvage from before the 11th Jan server switch? Gone with the wipe/reset. Event/Beta special items i.e. exiles, skinweaves etc should have been returned, but anything salvaged was wiped with the reset |

As in from the wipe up until a few days ago. |

Salvage is currently totally random, like shaking a magic 8ball.
There's nothing you can do to improve your odds, other than shaking the magic 8ball more often (which is finishing more matches) |

Thank you. Salvage is currently totally random, like shaking a magic 8ball. There's nothing you can do to improve your odds, other than shaking the magic 8ball more often (which is finishing more matches) Which is why it is important to not exit the match before the actual final tally screen.
If you bug out, no Salvage for you. |

They never show up in the Market as they do not exist as purchasable items.

The operative word here is yet since it looks like rare salvage will be marketable in the future.
I never leave a match unless the wife has something to discuss then I exit the match at the start. |
