As for the "nerfing" -- I feel I must laugh aloud, and very loudly at that. Oh, wait I am.

why you laugh? you forget when swarms were killing infantry with dumbfire? What's the difference between that an the FG? Both are AV, and do allot of dmg. Only difference i see so far is not many people spamming it. But don't worry, when all the noobs figure out they have a militia FG, you'll see more of it, then you'll see more threads of people QQ'ing over FG vs Infantry, then it's only a matter of time before the nerf comes.

Because, I find it unnecessary to "nerf" everything. I've been here quite a long time. I've been sniped, and slaughtered by all forms of weaponry. Including forge guns. Infact I have been sniped by forge guns. I do not rage about it though. If you can kill an infanty men with it, then my hat off to you. Does it need some rebalancing? Sure.. Why not. I am not bothered by it though. I tried wielding the militia grade forge gun, and I'll be honest if you can kill anything outside some LAV (Light Attack Vehicles), then kudos.

As for why I laugh? I find it funny. I've been the victim of forge gun bruisers in the past, and still find it funny.

It was pretty sweet when you launched yourself in the LAV onto the back of the tank and destroyed it at 5:33.

The problem with Swarm Launchers back when they could kill infantry (which was a long time ago, like 5-6 months) is that anyone could just fire in your general direction and kill you--plus you could fire relatively fast with it. With the Forge Gun, you need to aim, which includes leading your target and very good precision with a pretty suspect reticle--plus you need to take time to charge it up. I doubt we'll see a nerf to the FG with respect to damage done to infantry.

Otherwise you could say thats the wrong way to use the weapon but I say otherwise.

This is out of one day of footage out of 7 different games. Just pulled out most of the high points in the games and compiled it all the best I could.

So many one or two shot kills on dropships.

This really points out why something that is both as exposed and slow as a DS is just another duck in the FG shooting gallery.

CCP is going to have to show DSs some real love if they want them to be used.
