After spending two late-join games on two separate maps stuck in the MCC due to tanks, I have noticed an issue. Our landing zone is completely unprotected and within range of blaster tanks. I could ask for better spawning, or maybe for CCP's map guy to get off his ass and make something decent(someone called out the sound guy and he answered, so there's always hope), but how about this instead: add a turret to the MCC that, instead or randomly shooting at the other MCC, shoots at enemies underneath it. Maybe even making it character controlled instead of automatic. Just give us some way of punishing those who take advantage of how objectively bad the map is. |

+1 There should be a way to fight off spawn camping tanks in range of the MCC. Skirmish spawns and maps are fine generally. |

You would think the huge cannon hanging next to the moon pool would be used for that.
However your base spawn should be protected, so spawn there rather thn the MCC when you get redlined. |

If a tank can roll up to watch your team drop out of the MCC as easily as you can roll up to an outdoor theater, that is poor map design. If your main spawn has no protection for you to spawn in safety and attempt a turnaround, that is poor map design. |

Oh look its this thread again!
NO TURRETS FOR BLUEBERRIES ON MCC
They already sit in the ground turrets giving them one on the MCC is a horrible idea. |

Was in a game yesterday when we took all points, and blaster tank was camping the enemy MCC spawns. It was a sad massacre. MCC needs defensive guns to defend the spawn zone. Won't be abused if range is limited enough. Doesn't even have to be player manned. |
