This is what i wrote in "training ground"-forum, but didnt get any answers. Maybe someone in here could help me out ::
"I too look for some info how to call on my good friend on the EVE- side to come in and bomb my enemies.
What do I need, guys?
1. Do I need to be in a Corp? I-¦have played alone in closed beta for the last three months, and like playing time to time when my family lets me have the time for an occasional 2 hour session. So corping isn-¦t really the way for me I reccon...
2. What skills do I need to call in an OB, and How much does it / they (skills) cost?
3. How do I call on my friend up in the sky?
4. How does my EVE- allied find me / us in the whole universe? Do I have to give him the coordinates somehow?
5. Maybe I have to join his Corp or he would have to join me somehow? Pls advice.
Anything else I need to know or do?
I am a heavy, and skilling up quite good now, keeping scores regularly round 6- 700 wp, so I should be able to earn the skills to call in OB soon I think...

1. must be in a corp battle (so yes you have to be in a corp)
2. eve player must be in faction warfare
3. corp battle shows what planet /district the battle will be at so he can get into position.
4. once at planet eve player must target the satellite and wait for a squad to earn enough wp (~2500ish not sure) to call down an orbital strike
5. squad earns enough wp. squad lead calls down orbital using vehicle menu (under of-fmap support)
5. eve player automatically targets requesting dust player. manually fires weapons (small turrets loaded with tactical ammo)
if no eve player in position, or in a premade squad in instant battles, earning enough war points lets you call down a strike from the warbarge the same way |

Thx mate, So if i get this right; I start a corp and invite my friend in the corp ( possible?), I could call on him in instant battles to OB?
Becuse I just got some info in another thread that OB isnt possible in instant battles.. Right or wrong?

Actually, the Eve corp must be in faction Warfare and in order to do that, the corp must also have standings with the faction they choose to fight for. |
