Between the constant deployment/player/neocom window opening & constantly spawning in the middle of enemy squads (both resulting in death), this is rapidly becoming unplayable. Last time it got like this, it was easier to just buy passive boosters & not play for a month or two, go in level skills up, buy more passive boosters & do it again. Sad really, as this game has so much potential. I've been here for 5 months & I know it's WAY better than it was, but these 2 simple things make it unenjoyable to play. I have more than one PSN account, and this is the only one I play, due to these issues. The others just sit and accrue passive SP, until one day I decide to go level them up. I hope that wasn't CCP's intent. I hope they actually want people to play. Don't they? |

Out of curiosity, do you understand the meaning of beta? The point is to develop the game to a stable playable version before release. Hopefully CCP doesn't make the fatal mistake of releasing the game too early like so many other game developers did. However, until the official release, report bugs with the most information you can. However it is not progressive to rage/**** post. They are doing their best I'm sure. |

Been reporting the same basic issues for months now. Nothing happens. I am well aware it is a beta. But issues need to be addressed, even in a beta. |

Well, it has gotten significantly better since the Chromosome release but the Spawning into enemies is a multifaceted problem. There are been a few hot fixes to the server of late and they seem to have reduced the likely hood that you will land right next to a Red Berry. Not eliminated though.
The easiest problem to address is that you are playing Ambush on a small map. Start with an Uplink and put it somewhere safe. Hopefully another squad mate can be convinced to do the same time. With two active Uplinks (you can only support one at a time) the odds on getting spawn camped are reduced. Come out swinging or wait until the spawns runs their limited spawns out and try again. You can always exit the battle at the initial spawn screen if you don't like that map.
If you are playing Skirmish the issue might be that your side has been pushed back to the Red Line and the effectiveness of the spawn location could be improved.
If you have been playing one type of battle exclusively than trying the other can sometimes help. With your overall experience and the server seems to be a little friendlier (bad choice of words but I have no other, sorry) with a switch from one type to the other and than back again.
However, you didn't mention if you were playing Ambush or Skirmish. You also didn't mention the map name, the grid location, whether you were in a squad where the squad leader initiated the Battle Finder.
So, while you may get some sympathy, the odds on getting any help are effectively zero. They are working on these issues but it does take time and stress testing the servers is part of what we are all expected to do here in the Beta.
Beta needs to Data to get to Release. Just how it works. |
