I think it would be great to have an auction house to sell some weapons, that you could buy or find in the battlefield. and the game could introduce rare weapons in the game to be find or bought in the market and at a auction house.
i did not see a post like there is allready one sorry i had to get this idea through |

There's already rare weapons that can only be found through salvage right now, and a player market will open up eventually. |

You're joking right? This isn't FFXI; take you suggestions elsewhere please. Politely of course. Bloody awful thing to suggest in this game.
edit: No, no purple rares here, or orange uncommons thankfully. There are weapon types that are what they are, but we don't think of them or look at them that way. At least I don't, and I'm sure most others don't either.
We have Standard items, higher tech versions of them, Faction items, (Made by Corporations, Pirates, or Navy generally), Complex items made by Specific groups in Nullsec, and Officer items, (Also made in Nullsec).
Roughly anyway. They'll usually be named for it, and technically they do have color associations in EVE, but again, I'm certain we think of them as lore items rather than rares and uncommons, and artifacts.
Purple = Officer Blue = Complex Green = Faction Yellow-Orange = Tech II variant Standard is standard.
I'm not 100% this will carry over exactly so to Dust, but I understand that these sort of items will be available in some manner as Salvage in specific areas, just as in EVE. Until the player market opens up to include buying and selling, and presumably contracts, these will not be salable. Just hold on to them. |

final fantasy lolol wheres a hater lolol did you ever play other FPS seriously? My last was AVA i left in october and there was a lot of information and the guns had symbols or colors to diferantiate from other normal guns they even had faq to get rare itms and guns that just makes the game more appealing to hardcore gamers because they want to have rare or unique sets maby thats why final fantasy has some of the most hardcore players ever that spend hours and hours in game seaching for one freaking item in AVA was the same and it was a FPS type like CS so this sugestion stands and take your counter suggestions somewere else Politely of course |

The secondary market (the one in EVE) has the same basic functions as the Auction Houses in other MMOs, but it's far more advanced. Aside from the normal AH acts, the EVE market lets you:
>See side-by-side comparison of buy and sell offers >Get a price-over-time graph, complete with Donchian Channel (spelling?) for accurate economic assessment >Place offers from any dock-able station in the region you are currently in. >Has region-based pricing, allowing for interstellar traders to make billions flying massive Freighter craft.
All this and more makes the New Eden player market (which is on its way to DUST) arguably the most advanced economic tool in any video game - And we're going to have an impact on the economy it affects.
In short - we'll eventually get something far, far better than your run-of-the-mill Auction House.
(P.S. -- CCP is known to employ a full-time economist solely to interpret EVE market data and likely make projections for new additions to the game. It is also likely that he is being called on right now to help with the easing-in of DUST to this very economy, after which we get that Market) |

I think the focus has to be on player to player trading first. That is the most important feature to add to DUST right now. |
