Hey guys,
I played the Beta quite a lot when it was first available mid 2012 (I was always complaining on the forums under the name John DaMarine) and for some reason I started playing again a week or so ago.
I really want to say WOW... what an improvement. The actual 'meat and potatoes' of the game, the shooting, is totally different. It no longer feels like you're skating around on ice with little to no accuracy to your shooting. The animations are smoother and there's much less lag. Explosions are more tangible and it just *feels* better.
There are a couple of things that I think would make a big difference:
1. music - more of it and better suited to a shooter. I know this is a beta but this is a HUGE factor in gameplay. What little music there is seems strangely low-key and somewhat morose.
2. a simpler system to upgrade your character for those not suited to stats and spreadsheets. I not saying take away any of the depth for those who want it, just give a streamlined upgrade tree for those who want to focus on the fps side of things without falling too far behind equipment-wise. There is a frankly terrifying wealth of options and baffling per-requisites for someone used to console shooters.
3. the textures and colours need work, but that goes without saying.
Well done CCP. I had little faith at first (not being an EVE player) but you are starting to prove me wrong. |

Good feedback. Next month (probably) there is a patch which will focus on graphics, content, and other stuff. Including trees supposedly. |

Disagree with two players can catch up or try somthing else. We don't make real word games like chess easer for new people instead they keep playing till they get it same rule here. Over coming the clime Is part of the reward |

yeah sorry, but I believe it is internet law to follow one movie quote with another (slightly more obscure) quote from the same movie.
Also, this game should have a Horde mode where you fight off wave after wave of over sized bugs... like in a certain film I shall not mention.. |
