Perhaps, in the future (not now, seeing as we're in open beta), we should get a few Double SP weekends, which would be a nice treat to existing players, and should generate publicity to perhaps sway some people to try out DUST 514!

This would cut the life span of the game down to half its intended life.
How will this play into contracts, the feature that DUST is suppose to play on?

I don't think OP wants double SP every weekend. I think he's advocating increased SP for special events. |

Holidays maybe, but this sounds like a horrible idea for every weekend. The skill progression is too short as it is. |
