I'm a newcomer to the Dust / Eve Universe and was wondering if anyone would take me under their metaphorical wing and show me the ropes of Dust. In return I offer constant activity and past experience playing other FPS games competitively.
Unfortunately at this time I do not have a mic, I however have a keyboard and in conjunction with the use of in game tools can communicate effectively.
So far I've looked at some of the corps on the front page of this sub-forum and applied to a few.

We don't ask much from you, only that you have a good sense of humor, a mature personality and a mic, if you don't have a mic it doesn't matter, we have good team play so not having a mic won't be a disadvantage for you.

WarRavens are offering a US$100 PSN card/codes each for the first 3 corp members able to stay in the top 20 on the Dust 514 leaderboards for a 30 day period. Wins/Losses Leaderboard will not be a part of this event.
In order to be eligible, the player must have all 3 characters in the WarRavens Corporation (only need to be playing one character) and be an active player during the 30 day period.
These prizes are personally sponsored by our corporation's CEO, Snowraven WarBringer. Members of WarRavens have until the end of January 2013 to take up this offer. For example, if you happen to get in the top 20 on Jan 30, 2013 and stay for 30 days till March 1, 2013, you win a US$100 PSN card/codes. If a member from outside the US wins these three prizes, we will do our utmost to give them their equivalent PSN card in their region. As CEO, I do intent to have this event on as many Beta character wipes as possible.
Currently, our Dust 514 set biweekly deploys have three $20 PSN cards as prizes for each deploy. We also want to tap into the pool of good players who don't have mics by offering them mics as prizes instead of the $20 PSN cards during the set corporate deploys. If you don't have a mic but is an excellent player who listens, don't hesitate to apply to the corporation.

I suggest you join a corp where you will be given power almost how do I say not just like of its u or that guy we will give u a name join The Royal Assassin's details below on how to apply below
1. Go into the Neocom in dust by pressing L1 or Start.
2. Go under the corporation tab in your necom then go under the search tab under corporation
3. Go into Search not Contacts corporations then search TROAS or The Royal Assassin's.
5. Wait to be applied
6. Application accepted join a life of glory fun communication and then await your future :) |

Check out the TOD-Public channel. Squad up, see if you like what you see/hear and we can look forwards to working together if yours and the corps playstyles mesh.
UK/EU timezone, mic would REALLY help you (corp matches require it for us) but if you just want guys to squad up with for now, we can work around no mic. |
