The maps have nothing that makes them stand out,the vehicles seem to be to be a feeble attempt to try to be battlefield. the whole skill point system is flawed to say the least, besides the recoil all the guns in a particular class seem to be cut and paste. CCP needs to scratch everything they have done and start over, the idea they have is great but poorly executed. you all will start flaming this as soon as you read it but by todays standards this game is lightyears behind. The graphics are subpar, the gunplay is just sad, the game in general couldn't hold a candle to counter strike let alone any of the giants in fps gaming. The best game to implement the things they are doing here is MAG, one of the best if not the best shooter i ever played. Take this all in stride as this is just my opinion and they are like ***holes every one has got one.
When giving feedback provide description rather than declaration, anything less isn't constructive and thus is not actionable.
Now on to the concepts you seem to be raising. Maps the maps are in progress, they're slated to gain more visual diversity (rumor says with the next full patch) and their diversity is going to increase via two metrics on the mechanic level. First being that the buildings etc placed with be randomized such that you can't simply memorize the map in advance. Second, and likely even more important, is that the ability to have player deploy-able structures is in the works. This will effect the assets present on the field, the costs associated and the diversity of the maps/play.
Vehicles We currently lack the racial variations that are coming, meaning multiply all vehicle options by four, keeping in mind that there will be unique aspects to each. Expanding beyond that there are "Mechs" and fighter/bombers both confirmed as coming (which will also have four variations each) and that's not even touching on the medium vehicle class (an entire class of vehicles not yet in game). If the diversity of that weren't enough each one offers many customization options and can be modified by character skills.
Skill system the beta skill system isn't perfect that's true (what is?) it is also incomplete. There are many skills and sub-types of skills that are not even on the market yet, and various other skills are still be tuned for proper performance. Even more to the point saying "this pizza could be better" without providing any context or detail is devoid of useful information. If you feel certain there's a flaw in the skill system that needs redress point out the specific details of the flaw, and why that's a problem. With that information some action might be taken to improve on what your having trouble with.
weapon diversity Some weapons have a fairly liner progression (I'm looking at you laser rifle) while others begin to branch out as you unlock higher levels (witness the mass driver), and still others simply are not the same weapon even if they are the same type (Charged sniper rifle, and the Tactical AR both exemplify instances of this). Furthermore, just as with vehicles there are slated to be racial variations of the weaponry we have present. Beyond that CCP has confirmed that they're looking into including player chosen ammo types which will modify how a given weapon functions. And there are even rumors of varible scopes being added to the market.
Wrap up There's one striking feature which Dust 514 has that all those other titles you listed don't have. Dust 514 is a beta, and honestly wouldn't it be a bit sad if this (not even a month old) open beta were able to directly rival/surpass the dynasty titles of the fps genera? Give D514 some time in open beta to further iterate on refinements and you'll see a much more dynamic game. Besides all that it offers a persistent universe and an actual economic context (admittedly key elements of these are yet to be implemented into the beta at this point) which quite simply no comparable game has to offer. Oh, and it's free
All in all not a bad initial offering for a beta game that's slated to have years of ongoing development and support.
