So I was playing dust then went offline next day well today I play its says synchrinizing then it fails I increase my connection to 85% and its fails at 29% I need help should I reinstall the game again and delete it

Same issue, synch to between 5 and 25 % and then game info is corrupt? |

try doing a database restore on the ps3, then try again. it helped me but took like 10 minutes to finish synchronization. but it worked |

So I restored the database on my ps3 tonight as the problem did go away but has come back again tonight, thanks for the info Ek'Lantius, but unfortunately it did not work, the sych is stuck at 0% for either 5 minutes or immediately telling me the cached files are corrupt and then restarting the process again.
Please if someone has had same issue and worked something out, having a daily sp limit and trying to keep up with the lifeless daily virgins is hard enough already :( *joke* |

Game crashed last night (completely frozen), so switched of PS3 and went to bed, it was late anyway.
Loaded up Dust tonight, got to 76% on synchronisation screen, this stayed like this for about 5 minutes, then came up with the message data cache files were corrupt, please reinstall game. (Was not looking forward to this as the download/install takes ages for me, avg 7mbs broadband). Game then went back to log in to CCP severs screen, game then loaded normally. |

Got Data Currupted 2 days in a row now both times while leaving the end battle screen going back to Merc HQ.
I can synch and get to player selection but after that shows "Data Currupted please delete and redownload" |

I am also getting this, i get to 13% and data corrupted, try again later. I DID try all the solutions told to us by the devs but nothing worked.
By space magic the game worked yesterday, but today it went full ****** again... |

CCP you see were having this problem and its a pain in the neck to re-install so please fix this I think I'm not going tell my friends to play this game as I don't them to have this erorr and I sent message to [email protected] not reply I uninstalled the game re-installed game synched checked and downloaded then was working my ps3 has turn off automatically after 3 hours so I left it off I come back and says cluster no accepting connections so I see downtime is extended I wait until downtimes over I come back ready to play is synced to 29% then said Corrupt Data. Please try again later so try again goes 1% for 5 minutes then fails and says cached data files corrupt. PLease re-install the game so I'm like what I try 6 times same messages I complain CCP at [email protected] and no reply until now so I deleted game and now re-installing I'm telling you now CCP your gonna lose a lot of people if you don't fix this error its bothering almost everyone so if you don't fix it most people will leave dust so far I know 35 people who said there not playing dust 514 because of this CCP come on FIX THIS I thought it was supposed be like eve which by the way I cannot download the update it goes to 2.9 and fails CCP fix your games! |

I have invited with the link provided on the DUST web site but my friends are having the same issue of corrupted data file, try again later... the game already has a really big learning curve for most FPS fans but now they won-Št even be able to fail at the game because they can-Št get in.... i have 3 friends with the same problem.
Make that 5 friends. |

Also getting this issue.
Have deleted game and reloaded 01-Feb , but still gets to sync 15% when the corrupt data files message window appears.

Corrupt data bug here too, personnaly its ok if you give us the SP we lost because of dily cap, thanks ccp if you can answer about the compasation by our lost |

Are you guys playing on a wired connection or wifi?
I used to have this happen before when I was getting weak signal (27%-52% signal strength) from my wifi router. Hasn't happened to me again since I moved my router to a better position now getting 95-97% signal strength on my PS3.

This is the second Time I've completely deleted the game and reinstalled from scratch including deleting the game saved data.
2nd time round I stopped using wireless and plugged into the wired network .
Same Issue , stops at 15% during the sync process and tells me you have corrupt data files.
Anyone working on this . Im using the newer PS3 500GB model.
Not having any issues with other games or video. |

OK, so I noticed everyone saying the game file was only 2.7 or so gigs, so I checked mine and it was about 7 or so.
I tried reinstalling straight, did not work, with old files deleted including local data.
I then tried going to the PS3's boot up menu (holding down the power button till it turns off again, then holding it down again till you hear 2 quick beeps) and then formatted the thing, reinstalled dust and it worked.
Now I just want to know why the hell I had to go through all that to play a game I really enjoy, any offers on that comment? |

Still getting this problem, i am on vacations for january and february, but since this is the time i have to play and i haven-Št been able to get in the freaking game... i am loosing ISK and XP come on CCP, we need this fix asap. |

my advice :
- uninstall the game
- delete the dust514 Saved data Utility
- download a fresh install of dust
- forward the ports needed on ur router
Those are the ports that should be open on your router/firewall in order to properly connect to DUST 514
Backend communication needs TCP 443 and 80.
Battle server communications needs UDP 20000-21000.
Voice communication needs UDP 12000-13000.

I did all the above , including putting my PS3 into the DMZ zone on my router , checked my MTU setting and set that in PS3 network connections and made sure my router was the same , Deleted DUST, checked I had nothing in saved game data,
reinstalled and still get the same error on exactly the same SYNC percentage.
If this was a network issue you would most likely see different percentages every time you reinstalled , as a packet drop would be random , but every time I delete and reinstall its always the same spot.
Wondering if CCP could write a repair app that would check for corrupt files, then download the individual files to repair them and save me from having to redownload the base install of 2.7 GB everytime , that way I might be able to move past this sticking spot
I really miss the game. |
