I am formally resigning from hosting future "Dust OB" events.
After Hans Jagerblitzen runs the event this weekend he will pick another person in the community who can then run it the next week after which the process will continue. I have had a blast running these things, but I feel it needs to be completely out of my hands in order to move forward successfully and not be hindered by any drama surrounding myself. I would like to thank Daniel Jackson, Corvo the Shadow, Icy Tiger, Jaiden Longshot, Hans and the many others who have helped me make these events a success and make me not go crazy by posting all of the OB requests myself.
I will always be happy to lend my advice and support to any future hosts if they request it. I will also maintain a presence in the "Dust OB" channel to answer any questions or help in any way that I can.

UPDATE: Since my original post a folks have requested that I stick it out with the organizing of Dust OB events. I can do this to help keep the event going, but I still want people in the community to run the day of events and have a chance to pick the systems for the event. |

None of it matters if folks like you don't show up. It's the community that makes these things successful. I'm just glad I got to grease the wheels for a while. |

Remember our talk on Skype over a week ago when you asked me to take over the OB event from you because you no longer had the time? Well I meant it when I agreed to run it for you. At the time when you asked me though I was under the impression you wanted me to handle it indefinitely and thatGÇÖs what I agreed to. So if it looks like it may die off or Hans doesnGÇÖt pass off the torchGǪ IGÇÖll pick it up.
And look don't blame CCP over that Fiasco, it's my fault for misunderstanding your offer.

That was another honest misunderstanding. My end game goal was always to pass running the actual events from community leader to community leader. Since my original post folks have requested that I stick it out with the organizing of Dust OB events.
