Light Weapon Sharpshooter: Increases range by 5% per level. Increased range equates to increase accuracy.
Light Weapon Upgrade: Decrease CPU use for all Light Weapons.
Assault Rifle Operation: Decrease dispersal and kick back.
Find an AR you like and can afford. Practice. Aim. Practice aiming.
Reload before you have to, when you can do it safely, in cover.
Aim. For the head. Always.
If you are a pray and spray gunner then practice shooting from the hip. Reduce the kick (see above) and Do Not Ever shoot in automatic mode. Burst only. Once Kick Back is triggered it will not stop until you stop shooting. Which means you cannot shoot from the hip and switch to aiming after Kick Back has started as the trigger has to be released. For how long, I have no idea. I am not a hip shooter.
Flank, come from behind, use cover and try to take out the one that has less shields and/or armor.
Upgrade to a 60 round clip, use a damage modifier ... have fun. |

WEAPONRY 5!!!!
not only for the 10% dmg increase but for the complex dmg mods too.
And this might sound weird but get a laser rifle. Learn to shoot with that and suddenly you can choose which eyeball you want to take out with the AR |

You should figure out what you'd like to do as far as dropsuits go.
Test out a few before picking which to go with. |

This is incorrect. Increased range means you can hit people from farther out and the range in which your AR does the most damage is expanded - Thus your gun hits harder farther. Accuracy is an entirely different mechanic.

Inquiry Regarding preserving Skill Points:
I know it's best for a player like me to first gain SP & ISK. And for my style of play won't be as effective as the best way which is to use an AR weapon, in an Assault dropsuit with Nanohives. Because when first starting out, my style does not earn nearly as much SP&ISK in comparison.
What I really am great at is shotgun/SMG weapon, in an Scout dropsuit with that mobile spawn; and to effectively utiliize this role, I feel what would work for me is to wait until I have 500K SP unallocated at my disposal.
1) So my question is, let's say although I don't use any of my unallocated SP. Would running & gunning with totally different specs & equipment only gain me experience skill points in that specific gear, equipment, dropsuit and weaponry?
2) Or is it whereas it doesn't matter how I get the SP, so long as I don't use it, it's available to be used for anything I want?
Basicly, what I'm trying to do here is adopt one role, dropsuit, gear to give me SP & ISK quicker for a totally different role, dropsuit, gear.
3) Quick side note inquiry: What's "Dropsuit Command" |

- Unless you're saving for the next level of a specific skill invest your skill points. Having them invested in something which is actively being used will help improve your games, and thus your gains. I would also highly suggest you consider the merits of these skills as they'll apply to both suit/fit types.
- Correct, SP just goes into a pool to be spent as you see fit. How you earn it does not define what it can be used to improve.
- Dropsuit Command gives two benefits, first it unlocks racial dropsuit types allowing you to skill into scout, heavy, assault, or logi. Second it lowers your profile making it harder for scanning to detect you (and thus put you on the enemy radar in game).
Hope that helps
Cheers, Cross
