When you are a squad leader you are doing the most to bring your squad and team on top at the end of a battle. so your calling out commands, watching movement and flow of enemy team, and the last thing you want to do is miss out on a critical time when a orbital strike can most benefit you and your squad. I like the orbital strikes better when they were in the yellow frame notification bar. |

Yes, yes, yes, and a tonne more to this^ It's an important part of any squad tactics and for it to be announced so quietly in the corner is wrong. At the very least can we have a verbal announcement to the squad. To have a symbol for each one showing up beside the mini map like has been suggested in other threads on this very subject would be heaven. |

+1 OP the old notification or something to make the current one stand out more clearly (color change?)
Also altering OBs to give assists to the whole squad but not contribute WP to the next OB (still giving WP to the players however) would be good.

For now the best thing to do is tell your squad mates to let you know if they see an OB.
I almost always shout it out whenever I see it because they're pretty noticeable for me. |

I agree i know I have missed the opportunity multiple times. I think a verbal notification would work the best. |

I hope CCP is working on a fix for the OB Notification. I think a verbal notification is a great idea but since we still have issues with the sound cutting in and out during games sometimes, a clearer, more predominate visual cue should also be implemented.
The old message was much easier to distinguish than the current blue text that just seems to blend in with the kill feed stream. I know we can do better than this. |
