This game really needs a major rethink on movement. Why can't the clone run up a very slight upgrade in the sand? You have to sprint at them & jump & hope you hit it just right, or you get stuck mid slope for a second, & in this game 1 second = death. Same issue with edges/ledges around structures with ladders. The ledge is no more than a foot, maybe foot and a half, high & you can't get up there without the run & jump. This is VERY aggrevating, as a 10 year old could easily access these places, yet a battle hardened soldier can not? |

yep! It really takes you out of the game when you are wrestling with your controller just to run. Or worse, as a logo, try and get the center piece of equipment selected on a 3 slot suit.
i'm sure they will work on it more. But it should be said they need to make the controls so smooth and second nature you just enjoy the game. getting caught on a small ledge, or bouncing around a ladder, or falling a couple inches shouldn't vaporize your shield type of occurrences need to be solved.
It would be honestly cool to se them expand the resolution aspect to take advantage of widescreen TVs to lend a bit of peripheral vision. It's like box tunnel vision.

I know, I keep thinking I have my screen adjustment set wrong & have to go check periodically. When I started playing, 5 months ago, it took me a couple weeks to realize my screen size was way off. I was only looking at about 3/4 of the available screen. Talk about tunnel vision. |

Map with the big industrial factory area in the center, with all the control points. Walk toward the pipelines from the broken, sundered section of wall on the attackers? side of the map. You'll see some crates stacked against a low section of wall; I have yet to be able to get over them, and they're really no more than a easy set of stairs to jump the wall. |

This has been a problem for months now. I complained about this very thing and some gd fanboi tells me to go play Halo.XD I agree with everything you said though. Basic mobility that a kid could do and these supposed "super humans" can't. |

Mobility is greatly effected by the suit you wear. The logi and heavy are the worst while the assualt has its limitations. The scout is the best at running up mountains and jumping over things. I imagine these dropsuits weigh a lot and the servos can only help so much. I think they did the mobility restrictions on purpose. Each suit has a strength and a weakness. I do agree though that sometimes the movement is just too slow and makes the game a little sluggish. Especially when other shooters move so fast and allow you to vault over obstacles. I for one don't want to see halo jumping but a little better responsiveness would be great. |

That's basically all I was suggesting. Have the differences in suits but make them a little bit more mobile than what they've got. That's all I wanted. Someone treated me like I wanted us flying around.lol |

The responsiveness needs to be greatly improved so it's far more natural. As it is now it's like wading through nougat to run sometimes for some reason. it's like mad rocking on the left joystick to make the run animation happen.. yet it does nothing of the sort for too long. and then you die.
The there's the 12" ledge that confounds a super soldier in a veritable iron man suit that had just been running at a sustained 20+ mph for the last 150M... yet a curb stops them cold. iron man 2 would have been a half hour movie if this was the reality of it. wars wouldn't even be waged.. they'd just build curbs everywhere.
then there's getting up a ladder.. hope no one sees you because any sniper worth their salt will patiently wait for you to bounce off and bumble along frantically trying yo get the O button to lock on so you can finally start climbing. but oops! since it took you so long every single sniper on the map is plinking you off before you get to the top.
Ah. then there's being a logi with 3 equipment slots filled. Wanna know what it's like to be an old lady digging through their purse for anything the ever need ever? Then please, play granma logi. Have fun digging trough your equipment purse for a piece of candy for your squad mate. then you die.. with your nanohive out like a tray of unfortunate cookies.
The controls have to be tight like prom night, ya know what i mean?

It does feel a little slow, it would also be nice to have the option to go prone. Going prone doesn't necessarily have to be quick, but it would be nice for all the arbiters to be able to reduce their profile, rather than sticking out like a sore thumb wherever we stop to aim. |
