Four tips that may come in handy when entering the challenging world of Dust 514
Hi everyone, I put together a quick blog post giving a few tips on things that are easy to overlook when first starting to play. Would welcome feedback (good and bad) as well as ideas for future tips. |

This is for all shooter games with medics>> If a guy is down and the guy or guys that killed him are still there, dont run into the open just to revive the teammate. Although he/she may complain, they will complain even more if they get shot down right after you revive him/her. |

Teammate died? Your fault for not using your Repair Tool (because you were busy killing the enemy). Teammate suicided instantly? Your fault for not shouting over the private channel you don't have access to before he could suicide. Don't revive a teammate who got sniped because the Sniper is still there watching his corpse? Your fault for not reviving him. Revive the teammate in the open and he doesn't rush for cover, and gets sniped again? Your fault for reviving him when he was yelling for you to do exactly that. Get to a teammate in time to revive, and they voluntarily bleed out as you arrive? You fault for taking too long.
Yes, there are people who think this makes sense. And yes, you probably will have to deal with these people on a semi-regular basis if you aren't already in a Corp.
EDIT: Also, in response to the article, there are TWO LAVs that you can get free - which one you have depends on your choice of race. I have a free Onikuma instead. |

Thanks guys. (well.... some of you)
Can you think of anything you know or do now and consider to be common knowledge/practice that you would really have liked to known when you first started out? |
