Subject says it all. I've seen it briefly twice now during the load time as "Help, Tip" but of course it times out.
I spend a lot of time in bewilderment when I look at the map and radar. It would be great if there were a key (or combination) on the controller that would call it up as needed.

Sounds bleak. I can predict having to keep a decent camera mounted on a tripod in front of my big HD TV so that, on the off chance the screen loads *and* I have the presence of mind, I can catch a snap, then print it out.
Seems kinda archaic. I would have thought it could be accessed through the Dust 514 site online or sumpin'......

Triangles are flying vehicles the more the triangle is filled the heavier it is. empty triangle is a dropship.
Squares are ground vehicles the more the square is filled the heavier it is. solid square is an HAV or tank.
Octagons are turrets with different dashes to show what kind, rail, blaster, missle.
Resupplys look like a recycle symbol.
bullets for a nano hive
Bullets+ for a nanohive with repair capabilities
Drop uplink is a portable spawn device looks like a single person.
Multiple humanoid figure is a CRU or clone reanimation unit. Hackable spawn point.
Letters are objectives that you want to be blue and not red.
For that matter you want everything to be blue....
The hypodermic needle thingy is some body on your team that really needs your help especially if its blinking. Go stab him with your Nanite injector.
Red dots with an arrow are the enemy.
Blue dots with an arrow are friendly.
Greenish blue dots with arrows are on your squad (you should try to stay near them).
Any icon with a spinning circle around it is a squad leader designated objective and you should be doing something nearby it at all times.

Sure does -- thanks! Now if I can just figure out where my "choosable" drop point will be from the overhead display...
sigh.... 5 years in Eve, and now I'm a rank n00b again. |
