#1 It would be nice to have detachable scopes on Sniper Rifles, Sub Machine Guns, Tactical Assault Rifles, and Mass
#2 Drivers. As for the Forge gun. It would be nice if the suit ran on a Capacitor needing to be fit with stability options, in order to run a scope on it. A Suit running a Forge Gun would need a Capacitor in order to use the scope. Causing the suit to drain very rapidly if using a scope. |

Actually, it would be interesting to have different scopes available for some guns. Maybe different magnifications or something?
Honestly, I'm not sure why the ARs, SMGs, etc. have scopes/sights at all. We have smartgun links, why do we need any sights other than that unless we want magnification or ranging capability? |

+1 to scopes, of some form, any form, at least on ARs
From a gameplay point of view it's ridiculous they're not an option, being stuck with iron sights is just plain not fun. If you have to earn them with a skill or a fit, fine, but at least have the option. And no, the Burst and Tactical variants are not valid alternatives.
From a Lore point of view it's ridiculous that an advanced space faring culture would rely on iron sights.
From a Military point of view it's ridiculous that any frontline soldier wouldn't be equipped with a scope. I deployed to Tarin Kowt, Afghan, last year. Camp Holland, hundreds of Aus and US soldiers. Even the desk jockeys in the pay cell still carried a Steyr Aug with a 1.5x scope. For the operators 4x ACOGs were definitely the norm, both on the Steyrs and the M4s.
Yet these mercs in a galaxy far far away, tens of thousands of years in the future, backed by millions of ISK and a hyper-developed production/science industry, still use iron sights that obscure half your field of view with no magnification..... right .... |

The scopes apparently got removed recently as part of a (needed, to hear the vets tell it) assault rifle nerf. The old ones had red dot scopes.
They will probably be going back on, somehow or other. |

There should just just be an option to pick what type of scope you want on any gun once your proficiency is high enough with it.
Proficiency 2 = Minmatar red dot scope on assault rifles.
Etc. Etc. Etc. |
