I'm not sure the turnout is going to be as big as many of us are expecting, at least not right away. Not once have any of my PSN buddies asked me about Dust in the many months I have been playing it and the game showing up underneath my name (and most of my PSN buddies are FPS players).
There will be fresh meat, but I don't think it's going to be much different than what we have now. A majority of the new players will play a few times then never play the game again. Because there is no denying that Dust doesn't have the 'instant' gratification as other FPS games do (like COD, and perhaps BF).
And unless the turnout is big enough to have mostly noobs vs noobs, players will be turned off to the game very quickly. I mean heck, in the last week or so I have noticed that matches have been getting more and more unbalanced with each passing day. It's almost impossible now to play a round of skirmish or ambush that is somewhat equal, it's usually always one side completely dominating the other side.
I sure hope CCP did something with matchmaking that they will unleash on the Dust community tomorrow... |

I think everyone is getting revved up for nothing and will be totally underwhelmed by tomorrow, there will probably be 100 new players that sign up tomorrow, the ppl that really want to play dust are already here. |
