this may have been posted before, but i'm not entirely sure...so I'm gonna bring it up Was it ever said anywhere that there might be a future possibility of EVE people constructing gear for Dust people, instead of just EVE things? I think that would add an even greater depth to the Dust EVE connection and I don't know, just sounds like a fun thing to do if you play both EVE and Dust... |

EVE players will be able to craft dust gear, no more details then that. Atleast none that I've heard. |

If EVE players get to craft DUST stuff I'll be reactivating my industrial character for a month. Then never buy gear again. |

that is the problem I think ccp is having with letting EVE players run the dust market. Is how to keep prices suitable for dust but still make it worth eve players to make the products for us. my suggestion is to make a mineral or minerals that you can only get through dust mercs to make the weapons/gear which im pretty sure ccp has already thought of. devs can you give any hint to how this will work?

if it's anything like the actual market in EVE it's highly probable that the pricing factor involved will be the compulsive need for EVE traders to undercut each other every five minutes when the market allows them to modify sell orders. |

I would expect it, but like money transfers its goona take a large stable player base that has proven that they can out consume eves output. The completely player based economy of eve took ten years to happen I foresee it takeing a minimum of three years before all restrictions between eve and dust are lifted. |

Im hoping there will be some means for dust players to take part in this process. That could also act as a limiting factor for the productions of high level weapons.
For example, we get components needed to make the weapons in our salvage, or territory we hold allows us to gather these resources, therefore eve players are limited in cunstruction of dust modules to the activity of dust payers and the normal salvage will help prevent market inflation due to sudden demand increase after periods of reduced player activity(new shooters will alway cuase a temporary player dropoff)
I would expect to see something like this in the short term after the player market goes live. |

you're overthinking the problem. Your proposal limits production to a single chokepoint. This should be an option for DUST players to make their own crap, not for EVE mass production facilities. |

We better be able to craft our own gear at some point in dust also. I'm interested in playing the markets after I hit my cap |

I really hope they at least let us DUSTies get in on the market (all of it, not just DUST stuff), including reprocessing, if not allowing us to wrest control of PI from Eve players at some point. |

Buy a PLEX, sell for 550 million ISK to EVE players.
costs 20 bucks.
We'll see if CCP allows this.
I hope so. I want PLEX prices to drop.
