Green Living Pink Fluffy Bounty Hunterz RISE of LEGION 53	Posted - 2013.01.21 20:08:00 - [1] - Quote When I press down on the left analog stick and aim with the L1 button it throws a grenade and takes me to the squad menu screen. This always happens in the middle of firefights. Neither of these buttons is supposed to throw a grenade or take me to a menu. Does this happen to anyone else? I know it's because i'm holding down the left analog stick to hard but this feature of throwing a grenade and going to a menu needs to be removed.

It happens a lot when sprinting not just when trying to aim, very annoying when I've just spawned & try to sprint to an objective, and I end up bringing up the menu & chucking a grenade ... The only time I'm glad FF is off!!!:-) According to CCP bug report entry on the 8th, it appears a lot of us have faulty controllers.

So they have looked into the problem and determined that it's faulty controllers? I don't see how that is possible as this bug has JUST started for me. The controller is relatively new as well. Any response from a DEV on this one?

I have them and while I like them they do have a tendency to make me bump L2 by accident. Vice verse sometimes just to make life worse because I will hold my fingers too high on the trigger. Left side is the worst for me. If you are only using a controller then don't plug in a second one to charge it. Drove my system absolutely bonkers. Besides their claim about broken controllers the issue pops up when the firefights are happening which would make one, me, wonder about network related issues. Not that we have had any of those.

I can confirm through testing that i'm NOT hitting the L2 button. I can throw a grenade by pressing backards on the L3 and hitting L1. Neither of those combinations should launch a grenade nor should they take me the squad menu screen. I know the development team is busy, but this should be addressed.

There are some adjustments you need to make to your controller under settings. The dead zone can actually be adjusted under the move controller, not sure why but it works decrease the hit box to zero Also adjust your xy to your desired choice. Also you may want to try it with aim assist off this tends to pull your shots.
