I'm getting confused by small blasters recently. Now that I've specced into using them as more or less my primary weapon, I've found that killing with them is a breeze. Everything, including heavies and other LAVs, are getting cut down very quickly- all I'm using is a 20GJ scattered blaster on my methana.
However, it seems that whenever someone else guns for me, they can't get a single kill! There was even a red running around that was already out of shields and down to about half armor- the random gunner I picked up couldn't so much as hit them, by the look of it; ofc, the gunner courteously overheated the blaster before jumping out.
What's with all the people who can't use a simple small blaster? |

From what i understand the SP of the individual operating the turrets is applied to them, so is the case with the tank health. The individuals SP in field mech, shields etc are applied by the driver and the SP of the individuals using the turret will be applied to the turret instead of yours which would be higher if you specced into them to get the large blasters. |

Small blaster accuracy was much improved in Chromosome but they are still not easy to just jump in and learn. When I'm gunning for my son I do OK but we're in the same room yelling at each other. I've yet to have a random jump in when I'm driving and manage to kill anything. I think most randoms don't realize how easy they are to overheat. |

Pub game Blue berries are simply incompetent, mystery solved.
The 2% bonuses from turret skills will rarely make the difference between a dead raspberry and an escaped one. Especially with the scattered blaster which are effectively full auto shot guns at any thing over 10 meters. |

This is a question that many have asked. I haven't seen any testing. Maybe someone should try it :P. I got into a turret with no skills in turrets before the last reset. I was able to tear apart adv/proto suits with the proto small blaster. Blueberries tend to shoot at nothing too, so when a red dot comes the gun is already overheated. |

Yea well even without turret operation and small blaster SP the proto small blaster is a wrecking ball so it would make sense. It also has a lot to do with user skill on those weapons. Players who can aim well with them will do well those that cant, dont. |
