I've been saving skill points leaving me at a pultry 1mil to work with that I have divided between two classes, leaving me lacking in the specialist catagories I'd like to be involved in. I've been trying to convince myself this is for the best even though my stats are suffering due to being out matched (equipment wise) but the after effect seems to be helping my unit cohesivness(sp?) and anti-solo attitude especially when grouped with my corporation members. Let's just face it when you go solo no one else besides competant blue dots watch your back or set objectives and that almost never happends there is too much going on for thier tiny COD minds to comprehend. Not that I don't like that series at all >.< just not my style anymore.
So, intentionally saving large amounts of skill points is improving gun game IMO. Plus, the satisfaction of spending all that SP at once and re inventing yourself priceless
Some of you might not agree with me but I like the challenge of being outgunned and still prevailing even if it takes a few more clones a match. |

I clicked on this thread thinking it'd be some Mortal Kombat melee tips using bare hands, nano injectors and jump-from- dropship -dampener -slam -and- nova- knife assassination techniques. |

Yeah! Dishonored style! lol
This sounds like a good idea, though. The last shooter I played before this one was Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. That game relies more on reflexes than a keen eye or accuracy unless you're switching to an infiltrator to snipe pesky scientists off those high ledges no one else can reach. I guess I could torture myself with ambush, make a bunch of fits with starter equipment to suit different situations. I'm gonna suck (worse), but I won't rage over lost gear... as much.
I'll put this into practice. I like this idea. :P |

Nova knife time, nothing feels better than to run and chop frantic reloaders, especially heavies that press the jump button too much to try to avoid you and they baby hop onto the tips of vibro-knives Assasination moves would be sick on this game....Like stab the heavy in the back and hit the nerve for him to spray his HMG at his comrades to the point it overheats |
