So just played the old 5 point map from skirmish----The super large one not the one we normally play.
So it had redlines for spawn points...guess what happened.
We redlined them...YAWN!!!
Yea told you this would happen. And no it doesnt randomly spawn them to a different point in the map, least not that we could tell.
Edit- It appears this is only the case with this one map, the other 5 point maps has no defined redline and appears to have random spawning except at the start of the map where everyone spawns on opposite ends of the map, but even that is bad because one side spawn on B-C while other spawns On the ground near A/CRU. , i guess CCP is testing the two version side by side. |

Yep,a new low redlining in ambush every time those maps came up. |

When i played in Skirmish the players were getting spawned at the other side of the map sometimes, but i don't think it happens every time you redline them... |

Im referring to ambush. With regards to skirmish it was likely an uplink. |

They ruined the fun maps. Every single time I have had the comunication map it ends with snipers sitting in the redline. Massive yawn. |

I didn't notice any change tbqh. I still spawned right in front of red dots through out a match |

They vary the style of ambush, some are the random spawns and some are with designated spawns. |

IKR, if there was only a way to transport mercs around in some sort of vehicle that you didnt require any SP or ISK to use. Sigh if only oh well maybe next build. |

yea ambush is ridiculous now. a bunch of morons cried and now it's just stupid now we have a second skirmish mode minus the capture points which caters to snipers when before ambush catered to frontline players. of course CCP listened to these morons who couldn't just spawn skirmish and instead cried on the forums now you have your little safe mode ambush where you can run your homosniper to the mountains and not be shot at in the process. |

You like getting killed before you Finnish loading at the start of nearly every ambush? I've played quite a few of them and have yet to see a redline held for any length of time on these ambush variations. I'm not saying it didn't happen just can't understand how the other side let it happen. I've actually had some really fun fights on the initial fight over the center complex, and thought it was a cool change of pace.
Uplinks, vehicles, installations oh my.
If you get redlined it's because a good portion of your team gave up the fight and for no other reason. |

I found waiting 20s to first spawn in usually eliminated any surprise reddots when i spawned in the first time. After that my experience has been pretty good at not getting spawned in on enemies.
Edit- Also i havent been redlined yet in this new variation more often my team will redline and it get boring. With fixed spawning there is only one way to move and that is forward and rarely if ever do you get flanked. |

all i see now are blues, they could have added this as a 3rd mode instead of removing the old one.
when i played ambush i would go in 1rst with militia suit and a droplink with the intention of dying several times until i got a good droplink down, then we would all spawn in there- you know how i did it, arimal.
the chaos and constant random flanks made it seem like a real war was going on now it's this circle jerk of blues and it's too orderly- the chaos has been replaced with a clusterfuq of blues..
it's like they made that random guy's dream come true; all blues get spawned together in this cute little frontline like a high school football game, so they can carry each other.. whats the point of even fitting a droplink now it's random blob vs random blob with little variation in the way the map will play out and top player gets a whopping 12 kills on average instead of 40.
they could have made this trash a 3rd game mode now the old ambush, that simulated the chaos of an actual battle, is just a memory thanks to so may cryhards |

Everytime you die on the new ambush map you got to open youtube and search for Craig David - 7 Days as thats how long it takes to get back to the action :( |

played communications map, is now a ghost town what was once an intense urban fight, had to leave the city and join the redliners in order to get a kill, a few random snipers were all the reds to be found. i guess we now have our free roam mode or if you want to practice dropships you'r now safe to do so |

They also need to add more CRU's if they will keep this setup because currently there is a CRU on just one side of the map in the 2 maps where they try this variation.
Should be at least one a side, though i could see how this could also make the redlining worse if you end up getting both of them. |

I don't think I want to change anything about ambush but honestly the level of annoyance I have when some dip stick drops a spawn beacon in a freaking open place can only be surpassed by my hatred of medics who walk past me when I'm bleeding out.
Either way the waste of clone count is staggeringly stupid.

I haven't played a lot lately but when I hopped into Ambush today one of those matches came up. Simply put, blue blob spawns left side, red blob spawns right, 2 minute run to the centre for a fight, rinse and repeat. |
