So shooting things is pretty straightforward.
How do you use a nanite injector on a fallen blue, or use a nanohive, like mechanically with the game interface and controller? same with hacking etc.
New to PS3 gaming and just can't find anything in the in game Help about these mechanics or in the forums when I searched.
Thanks! |

Thanks! To use a nanite injector you have to be standing over the fallen player. Hold R2 to bring up your weapons/equipment menu and use the control stick to choose the injector. Once it's equipped, and you're close enough to the other player (who is hopefully still alive at this point) the screen with prompt you to hit R1 to inject them and revive them.
EDIT: To clarify, you don't have to be standing over a player to pull out the injector. You can have equipment equipped at any time.
All other equipment is used the same way. Nanohives and drop uplinks are equipped but then you can just throw them on the ground where ever. Note though that with uplinks your allies will spawn facing whatever direction you threw it in, so avoid having it face walls.
Repair tools work the same way mostly except that you can hold to trigger button down and focus your crosshairs on a nearby ally to lock on and start repairing him.
Hacking varies from a few things. Everything except control points will just be a matter of getting close enough and holding down Circle to start hacking. Hold it down until the hacking circle fills up completely. It goes faster as well if you having someone helping you. Control points are the same except that they can only be hacked by a screen located on the inside section of them. just find it (It'll stand out) and hack away. Then you just have to wait for it to change to your side. |

You're awesome, this breakdown is boss.
I've been dying a lot as a sniper, and was thinking of trying some logibro activities. Lots of good threads on what they do but this was the missing how-to-do. ^_^ |

EVE and Dust both have a pretty big learning curve so just take your time and mess around. Logistics is a lot of fun but just remember to stick close to teammates. Another tip is that if you're ever the squad leader, you can hold down R2 to bring up your inventory, then click R3 to bring up the Command window. Select one and just line up a target and your squad will see what you want them to do. Pretty helpful if you don't have mic. |
