[PROBLEMS]: As you have probably noticed, people hate the new way grenades work. Its a pretty big deal, and I hope will be fixed by open beta. Grenades don't travel far enough when thrown. This leads to a lot of CQC grenade spamming, and its counterintuitive, especially when every other game have much longer grenade throws. The range should bot encourage people to be throwing grenades only a few feet from themselves.
The other big issue with grenades are the fuse times. The grenades go off way too fast, 2 seconds is way too fast for something so powerful. This is leading to battles becoming massive grenade spam fights.
[SOLUTIONS] Increase distance for grenade throws.
Increase the fuse time. The Codex fuse time was fine, just revert it back to that.
Nova knives are no longer built-in to our dropsuits, so they must be something that must be equipped, selected, and used without a dedicated button. Similarly, grenades are not built-in for our dropsuits, so it doesn't make sense why they should get their own dedicated button. As xprotoman23 suggested here, grenades should be something that you have to switch to like other equipment, and used by pressing R1. This isn't really needed, but it it makes sense, and would free up a button for other purposes (better placement for squad order wheel, marking targets for non-leaders, or other things).

No one else hates the short distance? Seriously the shortest throw distance I have ever seen in a shooter, I have to tilt upwards before I throw it just to make it go a decent distance. |

switching weapon for grenade won't resolve the problem, it just means people will switch to grenades first and then back to rifle when depleted.
I don't need a menu to switch a grenade. much like I don't need a menu to switch equipment. (I don't agree with a menu for either. It's not fluid, it's frustrating even more in the heat of the moment |

i don't mind the CQC grenades.
it's the only thing that will take out the heavies with their HMG spam in CQC. |

I'm sort of 50/50 on this. I would love to have a second weapons swap slot. That is to say, you can switch between primary weapon and sidearm on one trigger, I would like to have grenades and nan-blade a switch. Ya ken? |
