I'm just wondering but why exactly can Heavy suits fit a sniper rifle? Sniper rifles are classified Light weapons, Heavy's can't fit light weapons, but they can fit a sniper rifle? Doesn't exactly make alot of sense. Anyone have any ideas, is this intended? |

How does it not make sense? If someone is capable of lugging around a giant mini gun (H), why shouldn't they be able to carry a lighter sniper rifle (M) or SMG (S)?
Heavy<--Light<--Sidearm
Classification is really just for the next size up. Once you can reach it you can fit any weapon below it, the same way you can fit a sidearm like the SMG into your Light weapon slot. It is fully intended

Heavies can fit all weapons, including other light weapons such as Assault Rifle/Mass Driver. They're allowed to do it because they lack what other dropsuits have: Equipment slots.
They also lack most module slots that other dropsuits have.
They're also slower due to heavy mass, with armor upgrades further reducing their speed.
In fact, the only bonus -other- than the heavy weapon is that they have about four times the armor as anyone else.
They should be allowed to fit light weapons because this game revolves around versatility and being able to fit a dropsuit to any degree that suits your playstyle. If you enjoy survivability as well as long ranged combat, you're more than welcome too - but the obvious counter will be that anyone with a shotgun/smg will be able to make short work of you. |

nah was just mistaken, I saw a bunch of red items i hadn't seen before, was salvaged gear. |
