Should totally implement this at some point in the distant future. Think of it like Rogue Drone battles but allow other Dust Mercs to freely join in the fight at their leisure for either side.
So what's the reward, apart from ISK?
Faction Gear.
Faction Variant Dropsuits/Weapons/Modules that cost LP (same as Eve Online) which is rewarded based on whichever side you were fighting for.
Capsuleers would probably revel at the ability to field a Federation Navy Gallente Heavy suit with a Federation Navy Plasma Cannon.
Yeah. Rambling at this point. Discuss. |

Fed Navy??? Pah, Ministry of Order assault suits with lasers. Or Fed side FIO, Caldari can get a Provist series that says We Love Tibus Heth. And when MTACs are out they can slap out some Templis Dragonaurs edition ones. |

I don't think they eat. When they invade it's not for food. It's to capture people to be made into True Slaves. They're not zombies, they have highly advanced slave implants that are connected to Kuvakei. Though according to Sansha supporters it's to the bring them into Nation's shining utopia of scientific enlightment. |

PvE content removes some incentive for Dust Mercs to work for capsuleers and use that old ISK up. Bad idea. Keep Dust pure PvP, keep everything up to Proto gear as NPC seeded, and use it a massive ISK sink.
Rich bored Eggers hire mercs to take planets, Mercs use isk to buy proto gear. Isk is out of circulation. |

Well, yeah... Sansha Kuvakei puts implants in their heads, yada yada... The smart ones get smarter, everyone else becomes a shuffling slave worker to free the "worthy" from menial tasks... yada yada...
They're still space zombies and they still have to eat something.

Yeah, it could be like a "Defend this position long enough for x number of Civilians to escape. And victory could be decided upon the required number of civvilians escaping and if you exceed that number you get a bonus for every x number of civilians escaping. You have to hold a key location against an increasing number of Sansha zombies each wave |

As long as the sanshas don't do the borg/walking dead shuffle and are an actual threat. |
