Assume that the SP cap is 27.500 (sounds right, I'm just not sure about the exact number.
What I want to suggest is making changes to the cap system. Instead of a daily cap, the cap changes from day to day. Launch date was 8th of January, we're now at 14th of January, and unless you have played every day, you lose out on possible SP. This is going to work AGAINST new people joining Dust. If a new person joins today, I would love to have his SP cap being 27.500SP multiplied by the days since launch. 6 x 27.500SP = 165.000SP, meaning his SP cap today would be 165.000 SP, tomorrow it would be 165.000 + 27.500 - whatever SP already accrued.
This would not only help newbies, but you can now also take a day or two off and live your life without having to log onto Dust every day to get your SPs.
I think this is a rather elegant sollution, I hope you others agree also not least CCP. |

Thats a bit exponential tbh...
Maybe have a week cap of the 7x 27,500 AND 27,500. miss a day gets added on to the next up to a weeks worth.
eg dont play 3 days... 4th day cap is 4x27,500, 5th day would be back to 27,500 |

I agree with op, anyone else that does should show support for ideas like this. Having a daily cap in a competitive rpg like this doesn't make sense it only holds back the ppl who don't play every day and makes it impossible to catch up, the only thing that does is make the game less fun for the anyone not on the front end of the sp cap curve.
For a free2play game to be successful the more players the better, if u make the game work against any one who has a life or anyone who isn't playing every day since day one ppl aren't going to stay. if u can't gain an advantage over the top players ever, y would u keep playing??? they will always have the upper hand. |
