You know, pray-and-spray noobs. No-talent players with OP weapons that just spray all over the place owning players near instantly because their weapons are OP beyond belief... IE, no talent heavies. (the most OP no-skill character ever)
Yup, CCP, nice job at balancing. Work on it another year or two and you might have it.... maybe.
Fix the heavy noobs already. These losers needs to be support only. Too many solo noob heavy OP players in this game with no talent other than spraying with their HMG and owning everybody easily because they have an OP weapon and suit.
No skill noob heavies have got to stop. |

You sound mad bro. Honestly, I think the Call of Duty players are more akin to the fast moving Scout/Assault types.
This game revolves around the ability to fit how you want. If someone wants to play a Heavy with a Shotgun, they're more than encouraged to.
Actually, you know what, Trolling detected. Call of Duty is a fast paced game - I don't think they'd last long as a Heavy. |

How sweet, you didn't even notice what we do.
We are mobile personnel tanks. We absorb hits, clear the objective, can keep two Logis busy and allow the squad to capture objectives without being overwhelmed locally as well as try to neutralize Red Heavies.
Some of us use Forge Guns to take the tank message further afield.
We attract attacks, we incite fear, we drive to inspire our side to move forward. Clear the NC and hold it. Stop the wave of Reds swooping behind our lines to retake objectives. When there is a minor sea of Reds the best way to clear it is with a Heavy and their trusty HMG.
And we die. We die because we stick our neck out when it has to be done. If we are surrounded by a good squad then we last a lot longer. We do more damage, the objectives stay Blue longer.
Help us by flanking those focused on us. Take the kill. Take the assist. The Reds must go down.
Drop a Hive, rep our armor, revive us. Point us at the next group to eliminate and support us.

You don't even know what your on about.
Heavies are ok as they are, Ever thought about attacking heavies from a distances? Have you ever been a heavy? Have you seen the reticule on a heavy, It's really small.
Do you understand rock/paper/scissors or do you understand anything about FPS?
so what you want to do is give heavies **** weapons and also leave them with minus move penalty?

You should have been here before the hp nerf on suits proto heavies were tanks
But really I don't think there is a problem with them now they are slow and vulnerable enough to suffer from constant headshots without much effort. |

I'm having troubles deciding if this is just an ugly troll, a 100% serious thread, or a mix of both. I'll go with mix of both.
I tend to agree with the fact that heavies are kinda easy to play. Mostly because of the past movement nerf that made every other player way more vulnerable to their HMGs as now a heavy isnt easily left behind or bothered by obstacles as they should.
But then, heavies are supposed to be nightmares for the infantry guy next door and they do a pretty good job on that matter.
Still, i manage to take down heavies more than they take me down.
Bottom line, i still am mad about the movement nerf. But heavies are pretty much fine. |

A heavy is nothing without his logi. A 3HP/s armor repairer on a 700+HP is just useless.
And as a logi following his heavy, repairing him when he need it, most of the time I don't take any shot. The heavy take everything for me, and it's his role.
So the balance is here : he needs a powerful weapon |

Yes the heavy is clearly OP. That's why you see all the noobs top the leaderboards going 20-0 every match. Or something...
I'll tell you what. A heavy running solo is screwed. He'll be flanked constantly and won't be able to engage enemies at close range very much.
Maybe you should try and use the heavy before talking about it, because you clearly have no clue what it's like. |

A heavy on their own never lasts long. They only come close to being an unstoppable tank when supported by a good squad. I think they work just fine. Try playing as one for a while and you'll see its not as straightforward as point and shoot. |

And lasers. And snipers. And shotguns. And even assault rifles.
Without support a Heavy is lost. Using a Forge Gun and expecting to get the perfect hit on those tiny, zipping, zig-zagging scouts? Using a HMG and being able to take on anything at long range or short?
The Heavy class is exactly what it needs to be, where it needs to be, and too costly to be used lightly. |

Solo Heavy w/ machine gun vs Assault w/ backup using a repair gun while hiding around a corner = a kill & a guardian sp reward.

Honestly not sure what you're ranting about. I can kill 98% of the heavies in this game if I'm not being assaulted by 60 people. That last 2% are actual heavies I admire because they can take me out. |

I can't really agree on the OP part
However, what I can tell you is that a heavy describes someones play style
Someone who needs + 1000 HP to kill someone
Someone who needs + 300 bullets to kill someone
Someone who needs +1000 RoF to kill someone
I understand a heavies importance when it comes to AV, but gungame wise there is no respect.
IMO a Heavy should have KDR easily over 5.00 anything lower then that and its just lol |

Pffh, hardly. With the sniper rifle's "snap back" you couldn't move out of the way fast enough to avoid catching all the rounds from the magazine. |
