Cause I also want to know. Today sunday 13/1 have been one of the worst days in months. Its true what MD wrote, a third of todays games have ended in a massive freeze. Combining that with the can't move, can't aim, can't cook my nade gkitches that I've had every second game today and the result is horrid.
I can understand that stuff won't always run smoothly on a new server and that you need to iron out some bugs. But dissmissing the thread he made on the most serious issues with the game is not cool at all. You could simply have stated that "There are some issues right now, but down time is coming soon and hopefully we'll get it sorted then."
And furthermore, why is there so many fundamental things wrong with the game after 6 months?
And I'm not talking about anything that really can be argued. Lets make a list:
Gameplay:
- In some games my charcter can't run. Sometimes it runs for a couple of meters and stops. Sometimes I walk at a snails pace. Respawning or pressing R3 sometimes fixes it, but it also comes back occationally.
- My merc drop in and out of ADS ultra fast and its very hard to shoot at anything.
- My nades don't cook, often killing me cause I can't dodge them fast enough when I stand close behind cover.
- I can't hack objectives. The hacking bar dissapears and reappers and the hack starts from the beginning.
The 4 mentioned above seems to be somewhat related, I do get all 4 at the same time, or any combination.
- Aiming sometimes leads to the menu (neocom) popping up. This can be fixed by going into the map.
- Sometimes my merc is stuck reloading, this can be fixed by swapping weapons or throwing a nade.
Communications:
- When joining a chat channel I very often get booted from the game. I get this message: " You have been disconnected due to an internal error. Contact support@ and so on." (not entirely accurate).
- Sometimes the voice chat just doesn't work at all. This can be fixed by restarting the game.
The accumulated effect of dying because of these issues and having to restart the game every third game on a bad day is quite frankly dissapointing after 6 months.
And I ask as MD did. Will the game inits current state go to open beta?
I hope not, I too really wan't this game to succeed. |

It was locked because it was a repeat thread, there is already one of those discussions in the Bugs/Technical Support section of the forums, which is where you SHOULD go if you are experiencing bugs or require technical support. |

Point taken bro, but shouldn't they have moved it as they normally do?
In any case, a responce from CCP about not being able to fix all these no brainer issues would be, lets say, polite of them. |

They normally post a reason before they lock a thread.
Thought I read a Dev or GM say they shouldn't lock threads without leaving a reason.
Still LogiBro is right and moving it to the right section, it would still be a duplicate thread. |
