I need to feel a more personal attachment to my weapon, maybe by adding customization options like scopes, grips, extended mags, maybe different types of ammo. and the look to.. the thing you see most of your character is your weapon. i want to look at a weapon i created. Try having weapons as there own drop suit load out separat from the suit , weapons could have there own cpu and pg |

I have this thing where I start naming my weapons. This has kinda shifted over to dropsuit and vehicle fittings as I've come to realise that the whole suit is one large, teched up weapon.
And good news for you buddy, I'm pretty sure CCP has said weapon customization is coming soon. |

In the EVE world if you train/add rockets to your ship you get rockets on your ship certain ships can look different even with different builds aka subsystems..
In the Dust world since we train all of our skills why not take away a modifier of say for example Assault proficiency and add 1% or more to different scopes (red dot, optical, etc) skill books or Silencer, Heavy barrel or For Grip (or EVE terminology : A Poly carbon thermal spring enforced crystal coated vertical hinged velocity torque rod)
I could see the devs having fun with adding attachments but I think thy should all be trained not bought or trained and aesthetic properties of the items purchased... Id pay 20$ to dec out my arsenal with bad ass looking blueprint accessories! |

Yes, I'm loving Dust 514, especially with mouse and keyboard, but I find the only thing its missing is more personal weapons and attachments like red dots. It would be really amazing if you buy the attachments or paint jobs as a blue print or once off skill, and then attach it in the drop suit menu to your weapon in say, weapon stats, we could have pre built combinations of guns that we can put into slots and we could learn skill associated with those attachments, like faster LdS with a scope... Or what about a crafting table where we can craft weapons that go into the drop suit menu... |
